Job Description
Position summary
-Develop and mentor junior member team engineering team in Bangalore, and lead the team in engineering design,
3D modelling of the products of related to positive displacement pumps, centrifugal pumps and compressors for the transfer of liquid and gas products for the following markets: Refined Hydrocarbons, Chemical/Industrial, Sanitary, Dry Bulk etc.

-Responsible for design suggestions to meet the said objective

-Lead the FEA work on new product family to set new industry standards

-Co-ordinate with USA/France Engineering, Compliance engineers, Design counterparts.

-Project management, Process & Project reviews and communications, including following the established FEA/design processes

Desired Candidate Profile
Education, experience and Skills required.

- BE/B.Tech. in Mechanical / Production Engineering from a reputed institute, with 4 or more years of experience in mechanical product design. Post Graduate qualification will be a plus.
- Domain knowledge in positive displacement pumps (sliding vane, eccentric disc and peristaltic hose), centrifugal pumps and compressors for the transfer of liquid and gas products.
- Application experience with 3D modeling /manufacturing drawings in Solid works software using GD&T.
- Experience in review of 3D solid models, manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings.
- Experience in conducting FEA analysis and interpreting the results of FEA in Cosmos/Pro-mechanica is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with common design calculations (No. of bolts, Torque, Rotational forces, Free body diagrams etc.) will be very beneficial.
- Design Knowledge and working experience with Positive displacement pumps/centrifugal pumps/compressors/rotating parts etc. is expected.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
