Nature of Activity Handled
o For imports : Preparation of D.O’s, Bonds, Movement Orders, IGM’s, Bill of Entry, etc.
o For exports : Preparation Container Stuffing Requests for customs, movement sheets enclosing forwarding notes of various shipping lines as given by their Surveyors.
o Invoicing – With respect to all dues and receipts of the ICD for space charges and movement of containers to & from ICD.
o Container Movement – Coordinating with ICD at Tughlakabad for both Imports and Exports by means of Radio Link
o Public Dealing – Deal with CHA’s, their Agents, Consolidators, Shipping Lines, Big Buying Houses, etc. to facilitate the works at ICD.
o Cargo Management – Proper stacking, storage and physically checking the Cargo that has come into the Warehouse and ensuring that the warehouse is always clean and conducive condition.
o Inspection of containers – to ensure that they are in sound condition
o Stuffing & De-stuffing - Physically handled stuffing and de-stuffing of containers
o Liaison – With trade related bodies such as Container Corporation of India, Tughlakabad and the RTO office at Faridabad to ensure smooth and trouble free movement of containers.
o Marketing – Presently handling the marketing along with operation.
