Job Description
These shall include, but not necessarily limited to, the following:
- Manage technical personnel, leading project design teams.
- Oversees the design or develops engineering drawings including plans and
specifications based on calculations; checks, interprets and revises engineering
drawings.
- Requisitions components and supplies of engineering projects, interacting with vendors to obtain price and product information.
- Estimates budget for each project including cost of personnel and materials.
- Performs research relating to each specific project; writes documentation and manuals.
- Coordinates with other project group members and supervisor on design problems.
- Writes specifications for purchase of new equipment.
- Supervises, schedule, assign, and coordinates or monitors activities of engineers, drafters, technicians and others who assist in specific assignments.
- Ensures proper distribution of assignment and adequate manning for subsequent performance of duties

Location
The ship yard and the offices shall be located in Bautino which is two hour drive from Aktau. The place is closer to the Caspian Sea and near Russia.
Family Status
- Only Single status. No Family Status

Work Timings
- 5 Months on and 1 Month Off.

- Will be provided by the Company.

Desired Candidate Profile
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Technical Section Head shall provide direction, monitoring and daily management for engineers and designers.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Individual should have strengths in the following areas:
- Knowledge of applying engineering principles and procedures.
- Knowledge of Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering
- Knowledge of engineering design applications.
- Knowledge of equipment and systems appropriate to related discipline.
- Ability to perform design integration on complex projects
- Excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills and an ability to gain credibility across all levels of the business are essential.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD would be an advantage

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in Civil or Structural engineering design, including previous experience of marine structures or related experience
- A minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in a managerial role.
