Job Description
* Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering
* 8 to 12 Yrs of experience in an engineering position as Auxiliary System Engineer in O&G company, producing designs that perform intended functions and meet engineering requirements.
* Experienced with applicable codes (API, ASME, PED, AISC, IBC)
* Sound understanding of mechanical engineering design principles, Strength of Materials and Fluid Mechanics.* Demonstrated ability to plan, lead, and execute multiple complex mechanical projects with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication skills (Oral/Written) and presentation skills for interactions with local & Global teams. * Effective multitasking and ability to deliver on time and with quality.
* Global engineering mindset.
* Possess & demonstrate passion towards excellence.

Desired Profile
* Lead & coordinate an engineering team dedicated to the mechanical, instrument and system design in revamping projects.
* Select and recommend with the team procedures in design and prepare/control designs for engineering approval.
* Work independently on assigned design project, supporting the team in Design Engineering and coordinating drafting design effort on projects.
* Work with other designers and engineering teams to identify the best solution and existing configurations / products that can be applied or modified to meet project requirements.
* Interface with Customer (both internal and external) to discuss design, specification and project configuration.
* Assist the team in conceptual and basic design.
* Analyze and suggest design changes to satisfy International Codes & Standards, Internal Standards and System Requirements.
* Review of the Design, Drawings, Specifications, Calculations (Stress, Flow or Basic Design or Detailed Design) of all Gas Turbine Accessories
* Guide/Review/Mentor the Basic (Piping) design / Optimized Piping Layout / Support Engineering / Study of Purchaser's Specification / Supplier's Bid Evaluations
* Able to generate and drive the ideas to simplify systems.
* Define scope, plan and execute multiple Jobs with On-time Delivery and Maintain the Quality
* Collaborate with GE Oil & Gas Florence and Technical Leaders and Managers to define Process, Product, Technology improvement areas and plan design reviews.
