Our SPIRAL PLANT has manufacturing range from 18” O.D. to 84” O.D (5mm to 19mm)and length from 6to 12.7meters, low carbon SAW welded. Annual production capacity is approx. 2,50000 Metric Ton. The raw materials/ coils used for these are basically Mild Steel. It is equipped with latest OFFLINE welding mill with PLC, and Laser tracking system. The job consist inspection of Plate and Pipe Weld seam & helical Weld seam by Ultrasonic testing making reports and its analysis with graphical data.
JOB PROFILE :
- Testing of Plates and Pipes weld seam by UT for interpretation of various types of defects.
- Material & Component :- Low Carbon Steel Plate & Pipes
- Setting of calibration according to various types of procedures and specifications.
Setting of calibration according to various types of procedures and specifications.
Working on various Ultrasonic testing systems like RD TECH CANADA, KROUTKRAMER (GE Inspection Technology) & EEC Mumbai.
Working on various Manual Ultrasonic testing systems like (EEC Mumbai, Galileo& Modosonic).
I have successfully performing the job with various specifications (EIL Specification, IPS, API etc.)
Having a good experience working with THIRD PARTY (EIL, GAIL, IRS, SGS & Intertec etc.)
Visual Inspection of Pipes and Plates.
Preparation of the calibration drawing on the basis of various standards.
Preparation of testing reports and its analysis for review and improvement in the quality.
Up keeping of all UT Instrument which are being used for inspection daily.
Manage Manpower and shift.
Feed back to HOD about the quality of product.

- To assisted the HOD for the commissioning of new UT systems (KRAUT KRAMER, GE Inspection Technology) at Samaghogha, Gujrat.
Active Member of the Dept. Of Production Committee.
Good knowledge of IS and API5L specifications.

ASME Sec-V, ASTM-A435, ASTME-317, BS-5996, BS-4331 Part1 & Part3, SEL-0272
Good communication with senior’s & juniors.
