Job Description
8 years relevant experience in Pipe Stress Engineering within the oil & gas industry, extensive experience on offshore facilities preferred


Experience required with the following activities:

1. Conducting stress analyses

2. Producing critical line lists

3. Creating and presenting technical reports

4. Review general arrangements and isometrics

5. Use of monographs and other similar techniques

6. Produce and check calculations

7. Design of pipe supports

8. Local stress checks

9. Flange leakage checks

10. Fatigue analysis

11. Assessment of loads on equipment

12. Site surveys

Software Experience:
Experience with Caesar II or similar analysis software
Experience with navigating PDMS or similar 3D Cad systems
Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel experience

Responsibilities include -

· Conduct pipe stress analyses

· Produce critical line lists

· Create and present technical reports

· Review general arrangements and isometrics

· Produce and check calculations

· Design pipe supports

· Conduct local stress checks

· Conduct flange leakage checks

· Conduct fatigue analysis

Desired Candidate Profile
Education and Experience:

· Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering

· Strong knowledge of appropriate national and international codes and standards such as ASME, API, DNV, ABS Guides, BS and UKOOA is preferred.

· Experience in conducting stress analyses using Caesar II or similar analysis software.

· 8 years relevant experience in Pipe Stress Engineering within the oil & gas industry, extensive experience on offshore facilities preferred
