Job Description
8 -12 years relevant experience in Pipe Stress Engineering within the oil & gas industry.
Experience required with the following activities:
1. Conducting stress analyses
2. Producing critical line lists
3. Creating and presenting technical reports
4. Review general arrangements and isometrics
5. Use of monographs and other similar techniques
6. Produce and check calculations
7. Design of pipe supports
8. Local stress checks
9. Assessment of loads on equipment

Software Experience:
Experience with Caesar II or similar analysis software
Experience with navigating PDMS or similar 3D Cad systems
Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel experience
Responsibilities include -
- Conduct pipe stress analyses
- Produce critical line lists

- Review general arrangements and isometrics

Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of appropriate national and international codes and standards such as ASME, API, DNV, ABS Guides, BS and UKOOA is preferred.
- Experience in conducting stress analyses using Caesar II or similar analysis software.
- 8 - 12 years relevant experience in Pipe Stress Engineering within the oil & gas industry

Project on “Biomedical Monitoring System for Heart Beat and Temperature Measurement”.
Project Description : To count Heart Beat, it uses a small light source (High intensity Ultra red LED) on one side of the finger (thumb) and observe the change in light intensity on the other
side. Blood Flow causes variation in light intensity reaching the Light Dependent Resistor (LDR).It results in the change in signal strength due to change in the resistance of LDR.
For Temperature measurement, it uses AT89C52 microcontroller, temperature sensor chip (DS1621) and an LCD module. It displays temperature in the range of -55- C to 125- C.The indicator outputs calibrated data in digital form.
