    Job Description
    Designation: Sr. Bartender

    Reporting to- Restaurant Manager

    1. Responsible for the operation and supervision of main bar, lounge, Dispense bar and overall beverage service in the restaurant.
    2.In charge of the direction, supervision, performance, training and evaluation of all positions within the bar department.
    3. Maintaining SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) In order to consistently exceed guest expectations and provide the highest level of product and services.
    4. Responsible for ensuring that the beverage sales forecasted for bars, lounges and restaurants are met and exceeded.
    5. Ensures that the department is in compliance with all company policies, rules and regulations.
    6. Manages and achieves the budgets that are determined for the bar organization.
    7. Assists the Restaurant General Manager with the entire operation of the bar department by strategising monthly and yearly sales targets.
    8. Responsible for the bar staff and cleanliness of the lounges.
    9. Possible promotion to Corporate Bar Manager.
    10. Recruitment of other quality and seasoned bar staff from time to time.
    11. Working closely with other departments like service and production, to reach the overall targets of the restaurant.
    12. Building and maintaining restaurant’s database on a regular basis.
    13. Innovation and creativity to up sell, launch or promotion in lieu with the restaurant manager’s guidance.
    14. Apart from mixology, also emphasizing on the growing Wine culture of the restaurant through promotional events.
    15. Face-lifting of the “liqueur” division through personalized suggestions in the dining.



    Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
