Project Details
Title : “Comparison of Genomes by Using BugView Tool”
Objective : To find out similar and dissimilar genes of different strain species by using comparative genomics approach.
Project Description : The aim of the project was the comparision of Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Schwarzengrund strain with Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Heidelberg strain has been done by using the BugView tool.
The outcome was the identification of similar and dissimilar genes, their gene ID, Protein ID, functions,pairwise and multiple comparasions.this type of study is highly useful in modern research as it links to molecular medicine,molecular evolution,annotation,gene finding,synteny,clusters,regulatory sites,functions of hypothetical proteins.
