Description of Position:
The incumbent will be called upon to provide technical leadership in the areas of engineering practices, technology evaluation, project management, statutes and Environment, Health & Safety for the manufacturing unit and enable a conducive learning environment that stimulates creativity, innovation and continual improvement in the department. The incumbent shall be principally responsible for ensuring availability of infrastructure, equipment, utilities and spares for producing cigarettes and other tobacco products, plan and budget for initiatives towards providing a flexible manufacturing set-up to ensure lower cycle times, recurring costs and brand value, to assist in formulating policies for asset replacement, obsolescence determination, etc., ensuring benchmarking of engineering best practices, identification and development of vendors and contractors to provide quality service at competitive market rates and liaison with external environment for statutory sanctions and compliance on factories inspectorate, environment, electricity and boiler related matters and liaise with Union on departmental issues. Selected candidates may be placed in any of our cigarette manufacturing locations at Munger, Saharanpur, Bangalore and Kolkata.

Candidate Profile:
Should possess degree in Engineering / Technology with around 7 to 10 years relevant experience in a reputed high technology manufacturing environment preferably in a FMCG industry and should possess working knowledge of computers. The preferred age is between 28-40 years.
