    Job Description
    Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on warehouse/Yard operations and submit to the Reporting officer.
    Ensure competence and performance of day-to-day operational activities by contract employees.
    Maintaining liaison and excellent relations with shippers and Customs staff at CFS.
    Supervise/control any unfair practice pertaining to export/import operations.
    Ensure high operational standards at optimal cost efficiency.
    Comply with all and any instructions prescribed by Customs and Port/ Concor authorities in terms of movement of all export containers.
    Provide a value added service by ensuring that all containers are stuffed and moved within the stipulated time from the time of receipt of stuffing documents.
    Ensure that the warehouse space is managed to ensure optimum and high operational standards at optimal cost efficiency.
    Update all records on a daily basis with respect to containers received delivered and moved to and from Rail site to CFS / Warehouse.
    To manage and monitor all operational activities related to handling of import cargo with a view to optimizing utilization of the CFS yard space, enhancing revenue, maintaining cost effectiveness.
    Co-ordinate to optimise operational cost, equipment logistics and labour cost.

    The Job will require working in Shifts.

    Desired Candidate Profile
    To monitor and ensure that operational systems and procedures are followed and implemented with a view to maintaining operational efficiency.
    Follow and monitor methods and procedures pertaining to carting, stuffing and stacking of export cargo, ensure proper handling of cargo/containers.
    To ensure all activities related to movement activities of containers moving to and from the CFS/Port and from rail site storage areas expeditiously performed efficiently and effectively.
    To provide defect-free service levels in terms of delivery of containers to cargo receivers from the Yard.
