Job Description
Purpose of the Job:-
1.Design and Detailing of various Steam Turbine Components like casings,bearing pedestals, rotors, blades, diaphragms and couplings.
2.Prepare relevant Design and Quality Documentation and Layouts using Catia in accordance with appropriate standards and Design Rules.
3.Define Material Specifications for Various Steam Turnbine components(using Company Software ,Spreadsheets or hand calculations).
4.Collect and Analyse Technical Data.
5.Rendering Technical Cosultation ,assessments and Technical Judgements.
6.Carry Out the Work with accordance to appropriate Norms,Design Rules and Liasion with Internal and External Partners in the Global Engineering and maufacturing Supply Chain.
7.Meet Deadlines for Documentation and Budgets.
8.Support Technical Tendering Design Teams.
9.Elaborate and Implement Product Development ,Process Improvement and Cost Reduction Initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile
Technical Skills:-
1.Familarity with Steam Turbine Design and working Principles including auxiliary systems.
2.Familarity with Modern Engineering Tools,Norms and Design Rules.
3.Experience in Layout Design or Design Analysis of Turbo Machinery Components.
4.Knowledge of the Manufacturing Processes .
5.Knowledge of CATIA V4/V5 or any other 3d CAD Software.
6.Effective Planning ,Organisation and Presentation Skills including the Ability to Prioritise and Plan Work.
