Job Description
The selected candidate will energize the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective quality management system in the factory. The following are the key deliverables associated with this position:

Preparation, review & implementation of Quality System processes.
Stability & Method validation studies.
Ability to formulate, develop, implement WHO GMP documents & formats. Lay down processes and systems commensurate with GMP.
Train staff on new methods and establish standard operating protocols.
Conduct internal audits and routine process audits to build best in class product quality
Provide management with reports on QA activities and findings
File regulatory submissions, new product registration, and formulation development
Interface with various customers and showcase the company’s quality control facilities for business development

Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for this position would be a B.Pharm./M.Pharm./B.Sc Chemistry with 5-15 yrs of experience in the QC function of a pharmaceutical industry.
Prior experience of facing regulatory audits and exposure to Formulation R & D would be an added advantage. Other skills desired for this position are :

- Hands on experience in IPQC, Vendor evaluation, liasoning with regulatory authorities
- Prior work experience in coordinating clinical and non-clinical studies, preparation of submission documents and dossiers
- Knowledge of scientific terminology and experience of working in a GMP environment
- Good and effective interpersonal skills to interact with both internal and external customers
- Cross functional work exposure with various departments in support of corporate objectives
- High degree of motivation, with a commitment to excellence in quality
