Project Undertaken

“Isolation and characterization of Endosulfan degrading bacteria”
In this project I isolated Surface and Rhizospheric soils’ microflora and cultures were screened for degradation of Endosulfan. Then Immobilized cultures (immobilized using Sodium Alginate and Poly Urathrene Foam) were also screened. Analytical techniques included TLC, DNA isolation and PCR.
