Current Openings:
1. Language Editor:
Candidate Profile:
1. 6 – 36 months of experience in Copy Editing / Language Editing of STM Journals / Books, with high emphasis on quality
2. Excellent English skills (verbal & written), an eye for detail, proficiency in Microsoft Word
3. Enthusiastic learner and passion for reading / editing, flexible to work in rotational shifts (no night shifts for women employees)

Job Profile:
1. Edit author manuscript for spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, and rephrasing sentences as needed
2. Edit and ensure that the document conforms to the publisher's language and style requirements
3. Language editing of Journals / books with high emphasis on quality
4. Responsible for doing regular checks of files copy edited by the Editor trainees and give them appropriate feedback
5. Identify bugs in tools and record in the e-support tool

2. Copy Editor:
Candidate Profile:
1. 12 to 48 months of experience in Copyediting of STM Journals / Books, with high emphasis on quality
2. Should have good communication skill in English
3. Should possess eye for detail and reading skills
4. Should be flexible to work in shifts, should be willing to extend and work based on the business requirement

Job Profile:
1. Responsible for checking the style of the content with the given style sheets
2. Ensure consistency and availability of the data as per customers specification
3. Checking for appropriate Punctuation, Capitalization and Spelling
4. Ensure high quality in all above mentioned aspects and should be capable of meeting crucial deadlines

3. Graphics Trainee:
Candidate Profile:
1. Diploma holders (10+ 3yrs) / Under Graduates from Arts and Science with good knowledge in Photoshop and Illustrator (without standing arrears)
2. Should have good communication skills
3. Should be willing to work in rotational shifts (No night shift for Women)

Job Profile:
Responsible for Redrawing / Re-coloring / Re-sizing of Line art & Halftone images using Photoshop & Illustrator as per the customer's specifications

4. Illustrator:
Hello Illustrator, if you know your anatomy, and can send us a few samples to prove it, we can talk. TNQ provides scientific, technical and medical illustration services to publishers and authors worldwide and great opportunities for young artists to join, train and settle into a great career.

5. Proof Reader Trainee:
Candidate Profile:
1. Candidates with B.Sc / M.Sc (Mathematics / Statistics / Physics / Any Life Science Stream) - without standing arrears
2. Should have good communication & typing skills
3. Should be proficient in MS Office applications
4. Must have focused eye for detail

Job Profile:
1. Responsible for word-level proof reading
2. Responsible for close interaction with other functions to share and collect updates
3. Ensure the availability of error free data

6. Proof Reader / Senior Proof Reader:
Candidate Profile:
1. Graduate / Post graduate with at least a year of experience in proof reading
2. Should be capable of proof reading articles with 100% accuracy
3. Should be good in Mentoring and providing feedback to the trainees
4. Work experience in proof reading with US Customers will be an added advantage

Job Profile:
1. Proofread articles word-by-word or character-by-character (depending on the customer requirement)
2. Style check all types of articles according to customer requirement
3. Coordinate with copyeditors / Paginator in case of any clarification
4. Help Technical Editors compile an issue

7. Technical / Managing Editor:
A Technical Editor in our lexicon is a Graduate/Postgraduate with at least two years' experience checking styles and the page quality of books and journals. If you have managed a team in the process, and have at least 4 years of experience in all, then consider yourself a Managing Editor.

8. Technical Editor / Senior Technical Editor:
Candidate Profile:
1. Graduates/ Post Graduates with a minimum of 2+ Years of experience in Proof Reading / Technical editing
2. Should have handled Author’s corrections (Issues handling)
3. Should have handled a team of Proof Readers & Technical Editors
4. Should be capable of analyzing customer feedback along with Managing Editors and Assistant Managers and implement corrective and preventive measures

Job Profile:
1. Check the quality of proofs, set up new templates and check revises
2. Monitor and ensure productivity targets of team members are met or exceeded
3. Responsible for sending completed jobs to Managing Editors for final upload
4. Allocate jobs to team members (Proof Readers) and make sure work is delivered on time
