Instructions to the candidates for filling up “One Time Registration” and “Online Application form”
Application can be filled from 12.00 hrs on 28.12.2017 to 23.59 hrs on 27.01.2018 23.59 .
Interested and eligible candidates should register “One Time Registration” and “Online Application” only through online registration portal of TNUSRB website (tnusrbonline.org).
The Online Application system consists of two parts.
1. One Time Registration
2. Online Application
(i) One Time Registration :-
The first part is “One Time Registration”. It is only the uploading of data of the candidates and it is not an Online Application.
(ii) Online Application :-
The second part is “Online Application”. If the candidate wants to apply a particular recruitment he / she should fill the Online Application which is available in second part in module.8 under heading “Apply”.
The new users are advised to submit only one single online application.
Pre-requisites for Applying Online Application:
(a) The candidates are advised to carefully fill-in the online application form themselves as no change or edit can be done after submission of any of the data filled in the online application form.
(b) A valid email ID and mobile number is mandatory for creating a new profile. Hence candidate should have his / her own valid email ID and the mobile number which will be required for registration and it should be kept active till the completion of the entire recruitment process to receive all important communications from TNUSRB.
(c) In case the candidate does not have a valid personal email ID he/she should create his/her new email ID before applying online.
(d) The candidates should keep ready the scanned images and soft copies of the following documents which are applicable to him /her before registration of the online application.
i) Evidence for date of birth (10th Standard Mark Sheet)
ii) S.S.L.C/ 10th standard mark sheet. (Candidates with multiple attempt mark sheets should upload all mark sheets in a single pdf file).
iii) Community certificate
iv) NCC certificate
v) NSS certificate
vi) The scout certificate received from the Hon’ble President of India.
vii) Sports / Games certificates
viii) Ex-servicemen (Men/Women) Discharge certificate (This certificate should be uploaded in a single pdf) / Serving personnel undertaking certificate with the signature of the Commanding officer (format given in the Information Brochure).
ix) Destitute Widow Certificate issued by the competent authority.
x) Identity card issued for Transgenders from the Tamil Nadu Transgender Welfare Board.
xi) Certificate for having studied 10th standard/Under graduate through Tamil medium.
xii) Ward certificate issued by the competent authority.
xiii) Sports certificate Form.I or Form.II or Form.III for applying under 10% sports quota.
xiv) Scanned copy of his /her recent passport size photo.
xv) Scanned copy of his /her full legible signature.
Module 1. Personal details
The candidates should read the details given in this module carefully and all the mandatory details need to be entered which includes candidate Name, Date of Birth, Father Name, Mother Name, Gender, Marital status, Identification mark, Permanent Address details and Community.
(a) Candidate name should be entered in capital letters as in his 10th / S.S.L.C mark sheet.
(b) If any candidate has changed his/her name in the gazette after completion of 10th standard, the changed name should be entered in capital letters and a copy of the gazette should be uploaded along with the 10th mark sheet in a single pdf file.
(c) In the marital status drop down the Unmarried (Male / Female) and Destitute Widow candidates must choose the option “Single”.
(d) Father’s name of the candidate should be entered in capital letters as mentioned in his / her 10th standard transfer certificate.
(e) Candidate should enter his/her Date of Birth strictly as mentioned in his / her 10th standard Mark Sheet.
(g) Candidate should clearly enter the Caste status as per his / her Community certificate.
(h) Candidate should clearly enter the communication address along with PINCODE, and nearest Police Station which is situated nearby his /her residence for further correspondence.
(i) In address headline there are three lines mentioned as address line.1, address line.2 and address line.3. The candidate should fill his/her full address in these three address lines. The candidate should not enter three different addresses in these three lines.
After entering all the above details the candidates should click the “Save and continue” command, the next module for entering the details of “Academic details” will appear.
Module 2. Academic details:
The candidates should read the details given in this module carefully and all the mandatory details need to be entered.
(a) Candidate needs to select the highest educational qualification in the option provided.
(b) Accordingly candidate needs to fill other details like school, registration number, name, first language details and year of passing etc.,
(c) Name of the board / University details needs to be clearly entered. Board name can be entered as State Board, CBSE & ICSE. Also, for graduation and post graduation university name needs to be entered.
(d) In case, if the candidate has additional certification then the same can be entered in additional qualifications.
After entering all the above details, the candidates should click the “save and continue” command, the next module for entering the details of “Work Experience” will appear.
Module.3 Work Experience:
The candidates should read the details given in this module carefully and all the mandatory details need to be entered.
In case if the candidate is working in the Government service or in the Police Department then relevant details like GPF/CPS Number, joining date, present rank and current place of working needs to be updated. The candidate should enter his/her GPF/CPS number without slash (/) which is followed with that number. For example, the candidate should enter his/her GPF/CPS number as POL1234567. The “POL” should be entered in capital letters.
After entering all the above details, the candidates should click the “save and continue” command then the next module for entering the details of “Additional details” will appear.
Module.4 Additional details:
The candidates should read the details given in this module carefully and all the mandatory details need to be entered.
(a)
Please provide the details in case of any criminal case has been lodged.
(b)
In case if candidate has participated in the previous recruitments conducted by TNUSRB then the relevant details needs to be entered.
After entering all the above details, the candidates should click the “save and continue” command, the next module for “Upload Photo” will appear.
Module.5 Upload Photo:
The candidates should read the details given in this module carefully and upload the scanned photo clearly.
(a) Candidate needs to upload his / her scanned image of recent passport size photograph taken within 6 months.
(b) File size should be minimum 20KB and maximum size should be 60KB.
(c) File format should be jpg, jpeg, BMP or png.
After uploading the scanned photo, the candidates should click the “continue” command then the next module for “Upload Signature” will appear.
Module.6 Upload Signature:
The candidates should read the details given in this module carefully and upload the scanned signature clearly.
(a) Candidate needs to upload his /her scanned image of full signature which is legible.
(b) File size should be minimum 10KB and maximum size should be 30KB.
(c) File format should be jpg, jpeg, BMP or png.
After uploading the scanned signature the candidates should click the “continue” command, the next module for “Documents Upload” will appear.
Module.7 Documents Upload :
The candidates should read the details given in this module carefully and upload all the scanned applicable documents clearly.
(a) Candidates have to mandatorily upload the community certificate, 10th / SSLC mark sheet and PSTM certificate (10th standard/ under graduation depends on the recruitment). In addition to this if the candidates have the additional qualification of HSC/XII, Under Graduate and Post Graduate for which the copies of the certificates may be uploaded.
The destitute widow candidates should upload the destitute widow certificate. Transgender candidates should upload the identity card obtained from the Tamil Nadu Transgender Welfare Board.
(b) File size should be minimum 30KB and maximum size should be 600KB.
(c) File format should be pdf, jpg, jpeg, BMP or png.
Before confirming the uploaded certificates / documents, the candidate should see all them one by one and click the “Check box” available before the text “I certify the document uploaded by me is correct” and confirm the uploaded documents. After that, click the “continue” command then the One Time Registration Form fully filled by the candidate will appear in the screen.
Here the candidate can make any addition or deletion by clicking the “Edit” command. The candidate should click the documents which are uploaded by him/her in the bottom of the screen under title “documents and confirm the documents uploaded by them”. Then the uploaded documents will appear in the screen.
If the candidate clicks the “save and close” command the uploaded documents will be confirmed. After that, click the “Submit” command.
Preview of the One Time Registration and uploaded documents
After clicking the “submit” command, the full details entered by the candidates will appear in the screen. If the candidate clicks the “Submit One Time Registration” command, which is found at the bottom of the screen the “declaration” screen will appear.
The candidate should read the instructions given in the declaration and click the “continue” command. Here the task of the “One Time Registration” is completed. The activities done by the candidate is only the “One Time Registration” and it is not an activity for applying of any recruitment.
After completion of the “One Time Registration” the module for applying of selective recruitment will appear.
Module. 8 Apply
In this module the candidate may select the recruitment for which he wants to apply. If he/she selects “Common Recruitment” for the posts of Gr.II PCs, Gr.II JW and Firemen the male candidate can opt post preference for AR, Jail Warder and Firemen. The female candidate can opt post preference for AR and Jail Warder.
The thirdgender candidate can opt only the post AR. The female and transgender candidate cannot apply for Firemen post. Having opted the post preference the candidate should click the “apply” command. After that, the “Special quotas and Special certificates” screen will appear.
I) Special quotas and Special certificates :
In this section the candidate can make entries regarding :
(a) Applying under 10% Sports quota reservation and Sports certificates for special marks
(b) Applying under 10% wards quota
(c) NCC certificates for special marks
(d) NSS certificates for special marks
(e) Applying under 5% Ex-servicemen / Serving Army personnel quota and
(f) Applying under Destitute Widow quota.
II) 10% Sports Quota and Sports certificates :
(a) If the candidate like to apply under 10% Sports quota or for getting special marks, may click the “Yes” button and they should read all the particulars shown in the screen carefully.
(b) The candidate who uploaded the Form.I, or Form.II or Form.III sports certificate for having participated in the 15 approved games within 5 years prior to the date of notification only be considered under 10% sports quota.
(c) The other Form.I or Form.II or Form.III sports certificate for having participated in the 15 approved games beyond 5 years of duration fixed for 10% sports quota and the other sports certificates uploaded by the candidates will only be considered for special marks.
(d) If the duration of the sports events had not been mentioned in the Form.I, Form.II and Form.III certificate [date of participant in the event and date of completion of the event (i.e. date from -------to--------)] the candidate should obtain a separate certificate from the competent authority who issued the Form.I,II and III certificates mentioning the participation period (i.e. date from ------- to -------) and the date details should be entered in the respective place and this certificate should also uploaded along with the sports certificates as a single pdf file.
(e) The candidates who likes to apply under 10% Sports quota and for getting special marks sports certificates should upload the required sports certificates.
(f) The candidates who are not eligible to apply under sports quota and not eligible for getting special marks for sports certificates should click the “No” button and he / she may skip from there for making other entries.
III) Wards quota certificates :
(a) If the candidate likes to apply under 10% wards quota, may click the “Yes” button and they should read all the particulars shown in the screen carefully.
(b) The ward candidate should upload the ward certificate which is obtained from the competent authority after the publication of the notification.
(c) The candidates who are not eligible to apply under wards quota should click the “No” button and he / she may skip from there for making other entries.
IV) NCC Certificates :
(a) If the candidate likes to get special marks for NCC (A or B or C) certificates, may click the “Yes” button and they should read all the particulars shown in the screen carefully.
(b) The candidate should upload the NCC A or B or C certificates only.
(c) The candidates who are not eligible for getting special marks for NCC A or B or C certificates should click the “No” button and he / she may skip from there for making other entries.
V) NSS Certificates :
(a) If the candidate likes to get special marks for NSS certificates, may click the “Yes” button and they should read all the particulars shown in the screen carefully.
(b) The candidate should upload the NSS certificates.
(c) The candidates who are not eligible for getting special marks for NSS certificates should click the “No” button and he / she may skip from there for making other entries.
VI) Ex-serviceman/ Serving Army personnel :
(a) If the Ex-serviceman / Serving personnel who are going to retire within one year after the last date of receipt of application likes to apply under 5% Ex-serviceman quota, may click the “Yes” button and read the particulars shown in the screen carefully.
(b) The Ex-serviceman who is within 3 years from the date of discharge may apply under 5% Ex-serviceman quota.
(c) The Ex-serviceman candidate should upload the discharge certificate, particularly the pages containing the name, total service and date of discharge.
(d) The Serving personnel who are going to retire within one year after the last date of receipt of application should upload the undertaking certificate with his/her date of retirement specified in the certificate issued by the Commanding Officer of their unit.
(e) The candidate who is not eligible for applying under 5% Ex-serviceman quota should click the “No” button and he/she may skip from there for making other entries.
Note: “Ex-serviceman” means
Any person who had served in any rank (whether as Combatant or not) in the Forces of the Union, and had retired or had been released on or after 1st July 1987 such service:
i) At his own request after earning his pension; or
ii) On medical grounds attributable to military service or circumstances beyond his control and awarded medical or other disability pension; or
iii) Otherwise than at his own request after earning his pension, as a (result of reduction in establishment); or
iv) After completing specific period of engagement, otherwise than at his own request or by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency has been given a gratuity.
Note: “Ex-servicemen” means
Any person who had served in any rank (whether as Combatant or not) in the Forces of the Union, and had retired or had been released on or after 1st July 1987 such service:
i) At his own request after earning his pension; or
ii) On medical grounds attributable to military service or circumstances beyond his control and awarded medical or other disability pension; or
iii) Otherwise than at his own request after earning his pension, as a (result of reduction in establishment); or
iv) After completing specific period of engagement, otherwise than a his own request or by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency has been given a gratuity.
VII) Destitute Widow :
(a) The candidate is eligible to apply under Destitute Widow quota, may click the “Yes” button and read the particulars shown in the screen carefully.
(b) The destitute widow candidate should upload the destitute widow certificate which is obtained from the competent authority.
(c) The candidate who is not eligible to apply under Destitute Widow quota should click the “No” button and she may skip from there.
VIII) Full preview of application :
The candidates after entering their option/details in this section should click “Save and update” command and then click the “continue” command. After that, the full details entered in the application will appear in the screen. Then, the candidate should click the “Apply and make payment” command.
IX) Paying mode of Examination fee :
After that, the screen for paying the mode of examination fee i.e. online by using credit / debit / net banking or offline through postal department will appear. Here candidate can opt either online or offline payment mode.
X) Online payment :
If the candidate clicks the option for making payment through online, the screen for online payment will appear. The candidate can enter the required details and make the payment of examination fee.
The Board is not responsible for online payment interruption or failure.
XI) Offline payment (through postal department) :
If the candidate clicks the option for making payment through offline (postal department) the screen for “Generate challan” will appear. The candidate should download the challan and make the payment of examination fee through postal department within 3 days.
XII) Ascertaining the payment of Examination fee :
After remitting the examination fee the candidate should ascertain their payment of examination fee in the “dashboard” provided in their respective login.
XIII) Downloading of application form :
The candidate can download the filled in application by clicking the “Application form” link in the dashboard bar.
XIV) Non acceptance of fresh certificates :
The candidate should upload the required certificates / documents without fail. Only the uploaded certificate / documents will be accepted during the Certificate Verification of original certificates at the centre. The certificate / document which are not uploaded will not be accepted in future. If any fresh certificate / document produced at centre during certificate verification, that will not be accepted for original certificate verification.
