Position Name : Sharepoint Project Manager
Duration : 12 months
Location : Waterford, CT
Job description:
Responsibilities include:
** Scheduling and overseeing migration of web sites from a variety of platforms into Microsoft Sharepoint.
** Driving the SDLC process for overall project and multiple sub-projects.
** Clarifying and communicating project objectives and success criteria.
** Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure that project scope and requirements are clearly defined and documented.
** Forecasting and tracking team work hours against project budgets.
** Establishing and maintaining clear and consistent project communications and timelines.
** Managing project scope and risks, resolving and/or escalating issues, as necessary.
** Maintaining detailed project logs and providing timely project summaries and reports.
** Implementing and monitoring quality standards on all project deliverables.
** Contributing to ongoing process improvements.
REQUIREMENTS:
** 3+ years related work experience, including specific experience with large-scale SharePoint projects.
** Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects involving both technical and business resources with budgetary and schedule constraints.
** In-depth knowledge of MOSS features and how they are implemented
** Understanding of agile methodologies).
** Excellent communication, organization, team building, and time management skills
** PMP certification a plus.
