MBA Admission :
The Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani, is an Institution declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC act. It is an all-India Institute for higher education, fully residential, and awards its own degrees.

Admissions to MBA programme (On campus) of BITS Pilani, at its Pilani campus, for the I Semester 2018-19 will be made on the basis of CAT 2017/GMAT scores together with group discussion (GD) and Personal interview(s) of candidates.

Duration: Normally four semesters.
Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech in Engineering disciplines or a Masters Degree in any discipline from any recognized university or any Integrated First Degree of BITS. Candidates should have obtained minimum of 60% aggregate marks in qualifying degree.

Note:
For MBA Programme, candidates may be shortlisted based on their CAT/GMAT scores. Such shortlisted candidates will also have to appear for group discussion and personal interview to be held at Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa and Pilani during March/April 2018.

The final list of the centers for group discussion (GD) and Personal interview(s) will be announced only after all the applications are received and candidates will be informed of the same through BITS website bitsadmission.com. Admissions to the MBA Programme will be made purely on merit.

A candidate can submit only one application form for MBA Admissions. However if a candidate discovers any mistake in the form submitted by him, he can submit a second application form duly completed before the last date, indicating on the top of second application form that his first application form (giving its number) should be cancelled. In such cases, the second application has to be accompanied by a fresh application fee.

Announcement of shortlist based on CAT/GMAT scores: 8th March 2018
GD/Interview start: March 4th week/ April 1st week 2018
Announcement of admission offers: 10th May 2018
Admission of Selected students: 28th July 2018
Freshmen Orientation Programme: 30-31st July 2018
Registration for courses: 1st August 2018

How to Apply:
Interested and eligible candidates should apply through the prescribed application form available online at bitsadmission.com/ and take the printout of the filled form. The completed application form along with the prescribed fee should be sent to Dean, Admissions, BITS, Pilani-333031. Mode of fee payment is given while applying online.

Application Fee: Rs.2750/-
Deadline for submission of the completed application form online is 5.00 P.M. on 15th February 2018.

Important Note:
i. In all matters pertaining to higher degree admission, the decision of the Vice Chancellor of BITS will be final.
ii. All disputes pertaining to higher degree admission shall fall within the jurisdiction of Pilani city.
iii. All notices regarding test, shortlist etc will be put up only on BITS admission website. Candidates should regularly check the same.
iv. Curriculum review is in progress.

Instructions:.
1. Carefully read the handout for eligibility conditions and other details.

2. Read carefully all the instructions given in this page before proceeding to fill the online form. You are advised to take a print out of these instructions so that you can refer to the same while filling the form. Once you confirm the correctness of entered data it will be recorded and you will not be allowed to change it thereafter.

3. While filling the final aggregate %marks in the application form if your University/Institution awards results in the form of grade point convert it into % and enter it in the online form.

(For ex[/u][/b]: If your Cumulative Grade Point Average is 7.5 on a scale of 10 then enter the marks in percentage as 75% if your university does not have a conversion formula). To finalize your Admission, your final results of the qualifying degree should be available by October 1, 2018. Please read the handout for more details.

4. Before printing out the filled form, the system will generate a unique application number for you. Note down this number without fail and use it in your future communication

5. After completing the form online, you will be asked to take print outs of the filled form. You should take two copies of the printout, complete the form and send one copy of the same with the proof of fee payment by registered post /speed post to 'Dean Admissions, BITS, Pilani, Rajasthan - 333 031 (India)' before 5.00PM, February 15, 2018. You should keep the second copy with you for your reference.

6. After successful completion of the application process, please check the status of your application at bitsadmission.com/mbamain.aspx and follow the instructions.
7. If you do not have a printer attached to the computer, you can go to the printout page again by entering the personal details and the application number.

8. While applying online, do not use the 'Back' button on the tool bar of your browser. Use the links and buttons available on the page to move from one page to another. Further, when you have completed applying, close all the open browser windows so that others cannot copy your personal details.

9. When you are ready to apply online, you can click the link at the bottom of this page.

Note: The application fee is Rs. 2750/-. The fee payment can be made in one of the following modes:
