Field Assistant Recruitment :
It is proposed to fill-up following position as per details below purely on temporary basis under the time bound Project running in this Institute:

Name of Project : ICAR sponsored Farmers FIRST Project (FFP) entitled “Sustainable Livelihood Inventions for Augmenting Small Land Holders Income in Western Rajasthan”
Name of Post : Field Assistant
No. of Post : 2 (Two)
Place of posting : Rajwa (1) & Gantiyala (1) of Popawas Panchayat
Emoluments : Rs. 15,000/- (Consolidated) per month
Essential Qualification :
Essential: Bachelor in Science (Preferably Agriculture)
Desirable: Experience of working in farm, basic computer knowledge.

Duration and other conditions :
Up-to 31st Mar, 2018 or till the expiry of the project, whichever is earlier as co-terminus with the project (purely temporary basis)
In case if the project is extended the candidate may be retained based on his performance for the extended period.
Age limit : 35 years as on the date of walk-in-interview (Relaxation for SC/ST/ Women & OBC candidates as per rule)

The candidates fulfilling the qualification for the above position are invited to appear for a walk-in-interview to be held at the office of Dr. Vijay Avinashilingam, N.A., Sr. Scientist & PI, Division of TOT & Training, ICAR- Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Light Industrial Area, Jodhpur – 342 003 (Raj.).

The candidate should bring the filled in application form (as per the format annexed) duly signed and pasted with a recent colour passport size photograph along with the following documents given below.
(i)All original certificates of educational qualifications from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate and one set of the attested copies of all the required certificates
(ii) Two testimonials of Character from two responsible gazetted officers
(iii) No objection certificate from the employer in case of employment elsewhere
(iv) Experience certificate in original need to be submitted.

The above position is purely temporary, the candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project. Only the candidates meeting essential qualifications would be interviewed

The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any near or distant relative of the candidate is an employee of the ICAR – CAZRI, the candidate has to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing so as to reach Dr. Vijay Avinashilingam, N.A. Senior Scientist (Agricultural Extension) Division of Transfer of Technology & Training, ICAR-CAZRI, Jodhpur (vijay.avinashilingam[AT]rediffmail.com) by 25th Dec, 2017.

If such declaration is furnished on the date of interview and found that his/her relative is an employee of ICAR-CAZRI, such candidate will not be allowed for interview.

The candidates have to strictly follow the form annexed (typed / filled) duly signed and submit on the date of interview. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of candidature even after selection.

The service of the selected candidate will stand terminated automatically after the expiry of the project or completion of period mentioned in the offer of appointment and on the decision of the competent authority, whichever is earlier. He/she will not have any right to claim for regularization or absorption whatsoever in regular vacancies of the Institute/ICAR. TA/DA will not be admissible for attending the interview.
