Software Engineer, Technical Executive Recruitment :
Punjab State e-Governance Society under the aegis of Department of Governance Reforms is executing a number of core infrastructure projects and other large scale transformational projects, pertaining to implementation of information technology and e-Governance.
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling following positions purely on contract basis initially for a period of 2 years which may be extended on year to year basis, depending upon the performance of the appointee and the requirement of the society:

Name of the Post / Position : Database Administrator (DBA)
Essential Qualification / Eligibility : B.E. in IT or Computer Science / B. Tech. in IT or Computer Science / M.Sc. in IT or Computer Science / MCA from recognized university or institution with minimum 60% in aggregate in each case.
Experience: Minimum 4 years relevant experience in database handling using web development / designing.
Essential Technologies : Any RDBMS like MySQL, MS SQLServer, Oracle, MangoDB, PostgreSQL, etc. Knowledge of handling databases using HTML, CSS, CMS (Wordpress etc.), PHP, .NET, Java will be preferred.
Preference will be given for certifications in any of the prominent databases like Oracle, SQL, etc.
Age Criteria : Maximum age up to 38 years as on 1-12-2017.
Name of the Post / Position : Senior Software Engineer
Essential Qualification / Eligibility : B.E. in IT or Computer Science / B. Tech. in IT or Computer Science / M.Sc. in IT or Computer Science / MCA from recognized university or institution with minimum 60% in aggregate in each case.
Experience: 7 years relevant experience in technical skills like Programming, Web designing, Database handling, networking fundamentals, software architecture etc.
Desirable Technologies : HTML, CSS, CMS (Wordpress etc.), PHP, with knowledge of handling applications with DBMS like MySQL, .NET, Java.
Preference will be given for Certifications in Software Development.
Age Criteria : Maximum age up to 40 years as on 1-12-2017.
Name of the Post / Position : Software Engineer (Development)
Essential Qualification / Eligibility : B.E. in IT or Computer Science / B. Tech. in IT or Computer Science / M.Sc. in IT or Computer Science / MCA from recognized university or institution with minimum 60% in aggregate in each case.
Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience in web development / designing, database handling, web hosting and maintenance, software development, testing
Desirable Technologies : HTML, CSS, CMS (Wordpress etc.), PHP, any DBMS like MySQL, .NET, Java
Age Criteria : Maximum age up to 38 years as on 1-12-2017.
Name of the Post / Position : Mobile Application Developer
Essential Qualification / Eligibility : B.E. in IT or Computer Science / B. Tech. in IT or Computer Science / M.Sc. in IT or Computer Science / MCA from recognized university or institution with minimum 60% in aggregate in each case.
Experience: Minimum 4 years relevant experience in Mobile App Development and web designing.
Desirable Technologies : Android, iOS, HTML, CSS, CMS (Wordpress etc.), PHP, .NET, Java
Preference will be given for having working knowledge of Hybrid Applications.
Age Criteria : Maximum age up to 38 years as on 1-12-2017.
Name of the Post / Position : Software Engineer (Testing)
Essential Qualification / Eligibility : B.E. in IT or Computer Science / B. Tech. in IT or Computer Science / M.Sc. in IT or Computer Science / MCA from recognized university or institution with minimum 60% in aggregate in each case.
Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience in application software testing.
Age Criteria : Maximum age up to 38 years as on 1-12-2017.
Name of the Post / Position : Technical Executive
Essential Qualification / Eligibility :
B.E./B.Tech in IT or Electronics and communications or Computer Science from a recognized university or institution with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in each case
OR
MCA from a recognized university or institution with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in each case.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in the field of information and communication technology.
Candidates with teaching/training experience shall be preferred.
Preference will be given for having working knowledge of Office Suite.
Age Criteria : Maximum age up to 38 years as on 1-12-2017.
3. Only eligible candidates will be called to participate in the selection process. Intimation in this regard will be given to the eligible candidates via emails and a notice in this regard will also be uploaded on website dgrpunjab.gov.in.
4. In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one position, then he/she should send/apply separately for each position.
5. Application forms on prescribed format along with detailed resume and scanned self-attested photocopies of the testimonials should be submitted in the office of Directorate of Governance Reforms on or before 28th December 2017 (5 PM). Fee of Rs. 500 is to be deposited along with the application form for each post that a candidate wishes to apply for.
6. Incomplete applications or the applications received after the last date are liable to be rejected and no intimation to the candidate would be sent regarding this.
7. For candidates having CGPA instead of percentage in any of the qualifying examination, CGPA to percentage conversion formula should be provided while submitting the application form.
8. PSeGS reserves the right to defer, cancel or postpone the selection process at any time without assigning any reasons.
