Technical Assistant Recruitment :
Application for the post of TECHNICAL ASSISTANT ‘A’ (Unreserved ) in the Pay Matrix level `.29,200-92,300/- in level 5 as per 7th CPC

National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), an autonomous scientific organization functioning under Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, invites applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Technical Assistant ‘A’ (Civil) at NCSM. The details of which is as follows:

Scale of Pay : Pay Matrix – Rs.29,200-92,300/- (level 5) & other allowances as admissible under the rules of NCSM.

Essential Qualification : 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering with one year experience after obtaining the Diploma.

Scope of Work : Repairs and maintenance of building and installations, preparation of estimates and tender papers, helping engineers in construction/ installation work, and general caretaking of the campus, supervision of the construction/ installation work, minor design work and any other work to be assigned by the authority of the centre.

General terms and conditions:
Applications may be sent to the above address in the prescribed format available at the website – ncsm.gov.in along with photocopies of all certificates and testimonials so as to reach the above address on or before 10th January, 2018.

The envelope containing the application form should be super-scribed in bold letter as “Application for the post of Technical Assistant ‘A’ (Unreserved), Advertisement No. 13/2017,” as the case may be. Interim enquiries will not be entertained. Mere possession of requisite qualifications shall not entitle the candidates to be called for the Aptitude test based on which selection will be made.

Application not accompanied with relevant certificates and testimonials shall be summarily rejected. Decision of the Council in this regard shall be final.

Outstation candidates called for the Aptitude Test will be paid single 2nd Class railway/bus fare (both ways) by shortest route on production of proof of travel. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as disqualification.

Note:
1. Information in respect of Column 6(b), 6(d), 7, 8 & 9 should be supported by attested copies of certificates and testimonials otherwise the application will not be considered.
2. If in Government/ Semi Government/ Autonomous Bodies, application should be routed through Proper Channel
3. Canvassing in any form/ or bringing in any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as disqualification for the post.
