Project Assistant Recruitment :
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the posts of one Project Fellow (PF) and One Project Assistant (PA) on contractual basis for working at Haryana Forest Department (HFD), Panchkula, under CAMPA project, initially for a period of one (1) year.

Details of qualifications along with prescribed application form etc. can be downloaded from HARSAC website (harsac.org). The applications should reach on or before 01.01.2018 at 5.00 P. M. to the Office of Chief Scientist, HARSAC, HAU Campus, Hisar 125004 by speed post, along with a registration fee of Rs. 200 / - (Drawn in favor of Chief Scientist, HARSAC, Hisar).

It is mandatory for the candidates to bring their original certificates/ testimonials etc. at the time of Written / Skill Test. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview-cum-Written / Skill Test. The appointment in the project will be purely on contractual basis as per project requirement and it will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim implicit or explicit on any post.

The details of the posts and qualifications are mentioned below :-
Name of post : Project Fellow (PF) -1 Posting will be at HFD Hqs, Panchkula
Emoluments (Post wise) : Rs.25,000/- + HRA
Project Name and funding agency : Haryana Forest Department (HFD) under CAMPA project.
Period : Initially for a period of 1 year
Qualifications :
1st class in Botany / Forestry / Geography with PG Diploma in RS / GIS / Geo Informatics
or
1st class M. Sc / M. Tech / M. E in Remote sensing / GIS / Geo Informatics / Geo spatial technologies / Geomatics.
Note : Experience in utility of geospatial technology for forest related studies will be given preference.

Name of post : Project Assistant (PA) Posting will be at HFD Hqs, Panchkula
Emoluments (Post wise) : As per the Qualification (M.Tech or M.Sc) and as approved by cometent authority from time to time.
Project Name and funding agency : Haryana Forest Department (HFD) under CAMPA project.
Period : Initially for a period of 1 year
Qualifications :
M. Tech degree in Remote Sensing / Geo-informatics / GIS / Spatial Information Technology
or
Masters degree in Botany / Forestry / Geography with PG Diploma in RS & GIS from a recognized University

The appointments in the project will be purely on contractual basis for the period as mentioned above or earlier or extendable as per project requirement. The selected candidate will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit, on any post. Prescribed application forms can be downloaded from our website (harsac.org).

Candidates are required to mention exact percentage of marks obtained by them against each column of qualifications. The appointments in the project will be purely on contractual basis and will be coterminous with the project requirement. It will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit, on any post.

No TA / DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for written test / skill test and interview. The syllabus for the written test will be based on the topics related to RS / GIS / GPS, Forestry and Environment or the skill test will be based on the practical knowledge of the candidate in the field of Geospatial technology with special reference to Forestry / Environment.

Note:
Application Form should be enclosed with Rs.200 (D.D. / I.P.O. in favor of Chief Scientist, HARSAC payable at Hisar). Cash will not be accepted.
