DATE OF WRITTEN EXAMINATION : 16.12.2017 (Saturday)

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION will consist of:
(i) Written Exam - Max 100 marks
(ii) Skill Test (Typing Skill/ Computer Skill/ Professional Skill as applicable)
1. FOR POST OF ASSISTANT (ACCOUNTS) & ASSISTANT (ADMIN.):
The candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions advertised in the vacancy circular for the post will be called for Written Examination. The syllabus of the Written Examination will be of 12th standard level and shall include:
(i) Quantitative Aptitude
(ii) General English
(iii) General Awareness and
(iv) Accountancy & Taxation - Only for Assistant (Accounts).
The list of qualified/ short-listed candidates on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination will be uploaded on NIFT's Website i.e. nift.ac.in/delhi and Will be called for Skill Test. Those candidates who are not short listed on the basis of written Examination will not be considered further in the recruitment process.
2. FOR POST OF JUNIOR ASSISTANT:
The candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions advertised in the vacancy circular for the post will be called for Written Examination. The syllabus of the written Examination will be of 10th standard level and shall include:
(i) Quantitative Aptitude
(ii) General English;and
(iii) General Awareness
The list of qualified/ short-listed candidates on the basis of their performance in the written Examination will be uploaded on NIFT's Website i.e. niflt.ac.in/delhi and Will be called for Skill Test. Those candidates who are not short listed on the basis of written Examination will not be considered in further recruitment process.
The Skill Test includes;
(i) Computer proficiency test - MS Office - Word, Excel; and
(ii) Typing Test - 30 wipm in English/Hindi.
The skill Test is a qualifying examination.
Final result of the candidates (who have qualified written Examination and subsequently qualified the Skill Test) will be declared on the basis of marks obtained in Written Examination in order of merit.
3. FOR POST OF MACHINE MECHANIC:
The candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions advertised in the vacancy circular for the post will be called for Written Examination. The syllabus of the written Examination will be of 10th standard level and shall include:
(i) Domain Knowledge
(ii) General English ; and
(iii) General Awareness
4. FOR POST OF LAB ASSISTANT:
The candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions advertised in the vacancy circular for the post will be called for Written Examination. The syllabus of the written Examination will be of 10th standard level and shall include:
(i) Domain Knowledge
(ii) General English ; and
(iii) General Awareness
5. FOR POST OF MULTI TASKING STAFF:
The candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions advertised in the vacancy circular for
the post will be called for Written Examination. The syllabus of the written Examination]will be of 10th Standard level and shall include:
(i) Quantitative Aptitude
(ii) General English and
(iii) General Awareness
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
(i) It is compulsory to carry a Photo ID such as Aadhar Card, Voter's ID, Driving License, ID Cards issued by Government or other Offices where the candidates may be working. Candidates without such ID cards will not be allowed entry into the examination halls/Skill Test venues.
(ii) Candidates must write the exam/indicate the answers in their own hand.
(iii) Use of mobile phone, calculator and other electronic gadgets and their accessories is not permitted. Therefore, these should not, be brought inside the Examination Premises / Venue.
(iv) Candidature of any candidate found to possess mobile phones or any other means of wireless communication or related accessories either in working or switched off mode shall be cancelled.
(iv) The Candidates are advised to desist from use of any influence/unfair method in the examination hall which will render them ineligible for further consideration for the examination and also lead to their debarment from NIFT's examinations in future beside inviting criminal prosecution.
