Marketing / Business Development Consultant Recruitment :
Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Shipping, Govt of India intends to engage following position, purely on Contractual basis, initially for a period of Two years and invite application from interested and eligible candidates:

Sr. Marketing Consultant (with Multimodal Logistics background) for PMU / Traffic Wing , HO, Noida.– 01 Position
Key Responsibilities / Duties :
** Compilation and analyses of present and potential traffic data and preparation and submission of reports.
** Marketing, regular meeting with shippers / customers with the objective of modal shift of cargo to Inland Waterways.
** Planning of cargo movement / collection and compilation of rail & road data. Monitor the movement of vessels and loading / unloading at terminals.
** Organise regular trade meets at various locations. Maintain profile of present and potential customers.
** Any other work assigned by Member (Traffic) / Secretary .
Education : MBA from a recognised University / Institute with specialisation in Multimodal Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Transportation Management, Master in Maritime affairs.
Experience :
** Should have at least 10 years’ experience in the field of Multimodal Logistics /
** Supply Chain Management / Transportation Management.
** Excellent communication and presentation skills.
** Proficiency in marketing, data collection, traffic studies, data analysis and preparation of reports.
** Proficiency in Information Technology.
Remuneration : Rs.1,00,000 (Rs One lac) per month
Age limit : 55 year as on the closing date of receipt of application

** Proficiency in marketing, data collection, traffic studies, data analysis and preparation of reports.
** Proficiency in Information Technology.
Remuneration : Rs.75,000 (Rs Seventy five thousand ) per month for Guwahati (*) office and Rs.60,000 for Kochi office.
(*) – Higher remenuration of Rs. 75000/- is being considered / proposed for Guwahati , being a remote location.
Age limit : 50 year as on the closing date of receipt of application
