Chargeman Recruitment :
Indian Navy invites applications for the below mentioned posts classified as Group B & C, Non-Gazetted from the eligible candidates to apply online through website hqwncrecruitment.com for various posts (Application in other forms of mailing will not be accepted). Selected candidates normally will have to serve in the units of Western Naval Command and can also be posted anywhere in India.

Vacancies :
(a) Chargeman (Mechanic) 58
(b) Chargeman (Ammunition & Explosive) 41

Educational Qualification : (as per existing SRO 85/2008)
(a) Chargeman (Mechanic) Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognised University or institution
OR
Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics or Production Engineering from a recognised University or Board.
(b) Chargeman (Ammunition & Explosive)Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognised University or institution.
OR
Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognised University or Board.

Age: Between 18 and 25 years.

HOW TO APPLY :

The Following are the steps to confirm your Registration Process:
1. Registration Form
2. Upload Required Documents
3. Submission of Declaration Form
4. Print Application Form

STEP: 1
1. Click on the 'POST' which you want to apply to fill the Registration Form.
2. The tabs marked '*' are mandatory to 'SAVE' the Form.
3. Personal Details - Enter your Full Name, DOB, Mobile Number, Email Id, Address.
4. Enter the Religion you belong to, if it is not mentioned in the drop down list then select 'OTHER' option and please note down your Religion in the provided text field.
5. Enter the CATEGORY you belong to that is SC/ST/OBC/UNRESERVED (For the reserved category you have to upload the documents further.)
6. Whether 'EX-SERVICEMAN'. If 'YES' then please enter Your Service period in the provided text field.(Ex-Serviceman candidate has to upload the documents and Note that "Copy of Discharge Book to be provided at the time of verification").
7. Whether PWD. If 'YES', Give the percentage of Disability. (Please note that you have to upload the Scanned Copy of disability certificate)
8. Whether Sports Person. If 'YES' then enter the required details.
9. If Central Government Employee than enter the required details.(Note that NOC from competent authority during document verification).
10. Age relaxation chart for Reserved Category and Parallel Reservation.
11. Essential Qualification

STEP: 2
1. Customize your photo and scanned signature as per the instructions given in ‘steps to upload image/ signature/ documents’.
2. Read the Steps for Uploading Carefully and customise your photo, signature, documents in support of DOB, Caste, Ex-Serviceman, Educational certificate, Experience Certificate.
3. To Upload your Photo click on 'Upload' and select the image file of your photo (Prepare as per the instructions). Please note that Application bearing unclear images shall be Rejected.
4. Similarly Upload the Signature Image File.(.jpg Format). Also other all documents to be uploaded in similar way.
5. Once all the documents are been uploaded then click on 'Submit' button.

STEP: 3
Your Next activity is 'Submission of Declaration Form'. Before accepting the declaration form please go through your details once. Because once you accept it and press the 'confirm' button you will not be able to change the Registration form and other details.
STEP: 4
Print your Application Form by clicking on 'Print Confirmation Page'.

Guidelines for filling Online Application :
(a) Candidates are required to apply online using the website hqwncrecruitment.com. The link for submitting online application form will open on fourth day from the date of issue of Advertisement in the Employment News and it will remain open for next 21 days from the opening date of online registration.

Before filling online application form, applicants are advised to download online Information Guidelines containing detailed instructions for filling up online application form.

(b) The applicant must possess the required criteria and educational qualification as mentioned in the advertisement. Similarly, Candidates who have passed from a recognized Board/ Institution which has ‘Grade Point System’ need to get their grade point converted into percentage of marks by appropriate authorities before applying.

(c) Before start filling up of Online Application, a candidate must have his/her photograph and signature duly scanned in jpg format in such a manner that the size of photograph should be maximum 35 KB & minimum 20 KB and the size of signature should be maximum 30 KB and minimum 15 KB.

(d) Applicants need not send copy of Application form or any Document to this office. However candidates are to take a printout of Application Form for his / her personal record.

ONE COPY OF REGISTRATION/ APPLICATION FORM AND EADMIT CARD IS TO BE BROUGHT AT THE VENUE OF EXAMINATION ALONGWITH REQUISITE CERTIFICATES / TESTIMONIALS IN SUPPORT OF AGE, EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION DULY SELF ATTESTED. FAILING WHICH APPLICATION OF THE APPLICANT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS VALID.

(e) Headquarters, Western Naval Command, Mumbai does not take any responsibility for furnishing of incorrect / false details made by you while applying. The details submitted by you are considered final and authentic and no claims on the same would be acceptable.

Any incorrect / falsification of information will result in appropriate legal action being initiated against you and cancellation of your candidature for any future recruitment by the Headquarters, Western Naval Command, Mumbai. I

f the candidates commit any mistake in filling the online Application Form, it can- not be corrected by this office. Request for change/correction in any particulars in the Application Form, once submitted will not be entertained under any circumstances.

(f) The applicants must ensure that while filling their Application Form, they are providing their valid and active e-mail IDs and mobile number as Indian Navy may use either mode of communication for contacting them at different stages of recruitment process. No change in the e-mail ID will be allowed once entered.

Management will not be responsible for non-receipt of email and loss of their e-mail ID password.

(g) Candidates are requested to remember the password given by them during registration as it is important for further login.
(h) Candidates are strongly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for the last date for submission of online applications.

(i) Applicants should not submit multiple applications. However, if due to any unavoidable circumstances, any applicant submits multiple applications then he / she must ensure that the application with higher registration number is complete in all respects, which is the only one to be considered.
