Project Associate Recruitment :
Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Project Associate under the project entitled “:Centre of Excellence for Large Area of Flexible Electronics” at Samtel Centre for Display Technologies (SCDT), IIT Kanpur funded by DeitY (MCIT) New Delhi.

Minimum Qualification: B.Tech or M.Sc.
Desirable Qualification: B. Des. in Fashion Communication

Desirable experience/skills:
Wireframing and User interface prototyping & User experience research
User empathy and interactive designing with Critical Thinking
Should have user advocation quality, Strategy & Content developer
Anti-counterfeiting label design
Data visualization, 3D modelling & space designing

Software required:
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, CorelDraw, Autocad, Autodesk 3DS Max, Adobe Aftereffects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Flash
Salary: Rs. 15000-1500-30000/- per month based on qualification
Duration of appointment: One Year

Minimum Qualification: Ph.D or M.Sc + 3 Yrs of Exp. / M.Tech or B.Tech + 3 Yrs Exp.

Desirable Experience:
** Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/Chemical Engg
** Past experience in Nanoparticle synthesis
** Good knowledge of ink and paste
** Characterization techniques TEM, SEM, DLS, surface tension and viscosity

Nature of work:
The candidate’s tasks and responsibilities will include:
** Conducting research and development in large area flexible electronics that serves as a foundation for development of domestic industry in this field
** Nanoparticle synthesis and formulation of ink or paste
** Characterization of thin films
** Prepare presentations and reports.

Salary Range: Rs. 22000-2200-44000/- per month based on qualification
Duration of appointment: 1 year contract (may be extended)

About us :
IIT-Kanpur is located on the Grand Trunk Road, 15 km west of Kanpur City and measures close to 420 hectares. This land was gifted by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 1960 and by March 1963 the Institute had moved to its current location. If someone had visited it then, he/she would have seen a standing crop, acacia woods, a long winding line of stately mango trees, flocks of peafowl and a conventional country side scene of India.
