Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering Scholarship :
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is conducting a common Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering (AEEE) every year on an all India basis for admission to the 4 year B.Tech. Degree Programmes is offered by Amrita in its three campuses namely Amritapuri, Bengaluru, and Coimbatore.

** Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be admitted to the first year of 4 year B.Tech. programmes offered by the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham based on the candidate’s rank in the Amrita Entrance Examination- Engineering (AEEE).

** Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering (AEEE) is the only qualifying examination for B.Tech admissions in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
** AEEE 2018 is a common entrance examination administered by the institution.

** It is conducted in two separate modes, namely Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and Pen & Paper Based Test (P&P) mode.
** Eligible and interested candidates can register for AEEE 2018 by submitting an application in the prescribed form either ONLINE or by using a printed OMR application, BUT NOT BOTH.

Number of Scholarships awarded under this scheme will be as below:
** Amritapuri Campus – 48 Numbers
** Bengaluru Campus – 54 Numbers
** Coimbatore Campus – 102 Numbers
** Chennai Campus – 30 Numbers
** Total – 234 Numbers

If a scholarship holder under this scheme withdraws after the admission, the next rank holder would be eligible for the scholarship.

** CBT will be conducted in 3 time slots per day in multiple cities all over the Country.
** P&P Test will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM in all major cities in the states of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu

B.Tech. Scholarships :
** Scholarship Based on Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering Rank
** Students admitted to the first year of B.Tech 2018 batch are entitled for AMRITA VIDYANIDHI Scholarship based on their Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering (AEEE) – 2018 rank.

** Tuition fee waiver ranging from 90% to 25 % is awarded to the students, based on their rank at the time of admission counselling. Scholarship seats are earmarked in each branch in each campus.

** A total of 300+ candidates are eligible for scholarship at the time of admission and continuation of scholarship in subsequent years would require meeting the minimum required CGPA during subsequent years of study*

Eligibility for B.Tech. :
B. Tech. Eligibility Requirements :
Age: Applicants whose date of birth, as per school records, falls on or after 1st July, 1997.

Educational Qualification: A pass in 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects.
