Actually, this project is a Mining Township, on a lower scale, for 1250 people (meant for the people of TATA Steel only), which is located in Dhanbad. Dhanbad is a city in the state of Jharkhand, and is also known as the 'Coal Capital of India'. Dhanbad is 79th among the top fastest growing cities of world. Dhanbad is famous for coal mining. Tata Steel, BCCL, ECL and IISCO are some of the companies having coal mines in the district.
This project has a very different appeal in it. It requires a very different kind of approach, as it is situated in mines area. I have spent my childhood at that place and this gives me immense pleasure in deriving interest in this project.
With the proper knowledge, adequate resources, social and mental background, I think I should have to do this project rather than any other projects. In the form of this thesis project I have got a great opportunity to get myself attached with this place where I had spent my childhood socially, emotionally and physically and be able to do something for the people of that place.
There are many ideas or imaginations present in Russi Vihar, Sijua. But they are all scattered and I want to arrange them in such a way that it will look beautiful, orderly and which gives moral and emotional strength.
