Tradesman / Bench Fitter Recruitment :
Air India Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO), Nagpur invites applications from Indian Nationals fulfilling the requirements as on 01.11.2017 to fill up the posts of "TRADESMAN / BENCH FITTER" and also to form a panel for future requirements, on "Fixed Term Employment basis" (FTE).

The selected candidates will be posted in MRO, Nagpur. Selection and empanelment does not guarantee that the candidate will be appointed immediately. Release of candidates from the panel would depend upon the requirement of AIESL and decision taken by the company in this regard.

Management also reserves the right to change/alter/delete any/all of the conditions mentioned here.

NUMBER OF VACANCIES :
Total present vacancies are as follows, which may, however, vary depending upon change of situation/ workload and actual requirement of MRO, Nagpur.
Fitter = 12
Distribution of vacancies: SC = 1 OBC = 4 General = 8
Reservation and concessions/relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen candidate would be as per Government Directives in this regard.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AS ON 01.11.2017:
ITI with NCTVT in Fitter trade with Minimum one year experience in their trade and / or in aircraft structural repair (aircraft maintenance).
(Experience in Airbus / Boeing fleet shall be preferred).

AGE LIMIT:
Upper age limit – 45 years as on 01.11.2017
For SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen candidate the age relaxation would be as per Government Directives in this regard.

SELECTION PROCESS:
Eligible Candidates will be required to appear for TRADE TEST at the date, time and venue as mentioned below:
Date : will be intimated to eligible candidates through mail / will be hosted on our website
Time : 1100 hours onwards
Venue : Office of General Manager, MRO, Nagpur,
Air India MRO, Nagpur, Plot No.1, Sector 9, Notified Area of SEZ, (Near Khapri Railway Station), MIHAN, Nagpur – 441 108.

The Trade Test may be continued the next day(s) depending on the number of applications received. Outstation candidates will have to make their own arrangements for stay, in such a case.

EMOLUMENTS:
The TRADESMAN / BENCH FITTER will be under training for a period of one year and would be paid INR 15,000/- (under revision) during the period of training. On successful completion of training the candidates would be placed as TRADESMAN / BENCH FITTER and would be paid an all-inclusive emoluments of INR 17,680/- (under revision) per month.

The selected candidates would have a career in the Company when the services are continued with.

HOW TO APPLY:
Interested candidates may apply on or before 20.12.2017 in the format as attached with all testimonials in support of Qualification, Age, Original Bank Challan, category (SC/ST/OBC, Ex-servicemen), ID proof (any one of the documents viz. Voter ID card/ Aadhaar card/ Pan Card/ Driving License/Passport) to reach the Office of General Manager, Air India MRO, Nagpur, Plot No.1, Sector 9, Notified Area of SEZ, (Near Khapri Railway Station), MIHAN, Nagpur – 441 108.

In case of non-receipt of hard copy the application is liable to be rejected without reference. The last date of receipt of the application with all attachments is 20.12.2017 (close of work).

Applications received after 20.12.2017 due to any reasons, including postal delay, would be rejected.

Candidates who meet the criteria have to provide nonrefundable Bank Draft of INR 500/-(Rupees five hundred only) in favour of Air India Engineering Services Limited payable at Nagpur (Bank Draft exempted for SC, ST and Ex-serviceman categories), along with the aforesaid application.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Eligible candidates would be required to appear in a TRADE TEST for the post to be conducted in MRO, Nagpur. Candidates who qualify in the TRADE TEST would be empanelled based on the merit in TRADE TEST. Number of candidates to be released from the panel would depend upon the requirement and decision of the Management.
