AGE LIMIT :
a) 18-30 years.

Qualification/ Experience :
Hospital Wing
1. Junior Technician (X-ray) - B.Sc. Medical Technology (X-ray) / B.Sc. Medical Technology Radiology / B.Sc. Medical Technology Radio-diagnosis / B.Sc. Medical Technology Radio-diagnosis & Imaging Technology.
2. Junior Technician (Radiotherapy) - B.Sc. Medical Technology (Radiology / Radiotherapy).
3. Junior Speech Therapist - Essential B.Sc. Speech and Hearing from a recognized University/Institution. Desirable One year’s experience (clinical) in speech and Audiology in medical Institute of repute.
4. Junior Technician (Lab) - B.Sc. Medical Lab. Technology. OR B.Sc. with Diploma in Medical Lab. Technology.
5. Operation Theatre Assistant - B.Sc. Medical Technology (Operation Theatre/Anaesthesia).
Engineering Wing
6. Technician Grade-IV (Public Health) - Matric / 10th Std. with ITI Certificate in the respective trade.
7. Technician Grade-IV (RAC) - Matric / 10th Std. with ITI Certificate in the respective trade.

HOW TO APPLY:-
1. The candidates applying for the post should first confirm their eligibility as per recruitment rules as per advertisement on the website of the Institute i.e. pgimer.edu.in.
2. All eligible candidates should apply offline pgimer.edu.in before the last date of receipt of application form.

3. The candidate should download the application form from the PGIMER official website i.e. pgimer.edu.in and fill all the fields/columns of the form carefully. No field should be left blank. Entries filled in the form will be presumed to be true and no addition or deletion at a later stage will be allowed.

4. The duly filled in application form should be submitted alongwith copies of supporting documents/testimonials duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. The application form complete in all respects must reach in the office of

through Regd. Post / Speed Post / Personally / Courier on or before 15th DECEMBER 2017 (upto 4.00 PM).

No application received after due date will be entertained. The Institute would not be responsible for postal delay or delay due to any other reason and late received application, if any, will be outrightly rejected. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

5. Further instructions regarding Written Test result etc. to the candidates alongwith the admit card/call letter will be uploaded on the website of the Institute i.e. pgimer.edu.in.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
1. The candidate fulfilling the required qualification/experience as per Part-B for each post may apply on a given prescribed proforma, to be downloaded from the website of the Institute pgimer.edu.in through offline mode, and send by Regd. Post/Speed Post/Courier or by Hand so as to reach the Recruitment Cell of the PGIMER, Chandigarh till 15.12.2017 (upto 4.00 PM).

2. Written Examination:
The written examination in English language only would be of 105 minutes (five minutes for biometric capturing) duration and will consist of 100 questions (each question shall be of one mark). There will be a negative marking to the extent of 0.25 marks per question for a wrong response.

On the basis of written examination, candidates, three times of the vacancies advertised will be shortlisted on merit for further selection procedure. During the examination, the candidates will be required to undergo biometrics so as to ascertain any impersonation in the examination.

It is made clear that merely appearing and qualifying the written examination for a post does not make a candidate eligible or confer any right of his/her being selected for any post which he/she has applied for.

3. The applications alongwith supported documents of only of the shortlisted candidates will be scrutinized based on the Recruitment Rules of the post and the prescribed qualification, experience etc.

A candidate who will be found eligible by the Scrutiny Committee, their disability will be ascertained by the Medical Board constituted by the competent authority of the Institute and the candidate would be required to appear personally before the said Medical Board on a day and time to be intimated to the eligible shortlisted candidate.

The candidates who will be found eligible and whose name will be cleared by the Medical Board of the Institute, their merit list will be prepared alongwith a waiting list thereof based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination. The minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for General category and 35% for SC/ST/OBC category.

As the Government of India has dispensed with the holding of interview for Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ (non-gazetted) posts, there will be no interview for these posts and the candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the written examination only.

4. Syllabus of written examination:
The syllabus of written examination for the posts of Junior Technician (X-ray), Junior Technician (Radiotherapy), Junior Speech Therapist, Junior Technician (Lab), Operation Theatre Assistant and for the posts pertaining to Engineering Wing of the Institute will be of such nature as the candidate has studied during his/her professional course.

Further, the candidates should also bring the testimonials and certificates in original on a prescribed date which would be verified and checked and the candidates, who are declared eligible and whose certificates will be in order, would be finally selected for these posts on merit basis.
