General Duty Medical Officer Recruitment :
IISCO STEEL PLANT (ISP), a unit of SAIL, invites applications from bright Specialists / Medical Officers for engagement on temporary basis with the following disciplines, eligibility conditions, job specifications and honorarium payable as mentioned below:

Discipline : Radiology
No. of posts : 1
Educational Qualification : MBBS with MD/Diploma (Radiology) from MCI recognized university / institute
Responsibility : Engagement for 2 to 4 days in a week (Negotiable) for OPD/Ward/OT duties and with on call duties for the period of engagement
Honorarium : Specialists with PG Diploma - Rs.3000/ per day. Specialists with PG Degree - Rs. 3,500/ per day

Discipline : Orthopedics
No. of posts : 2
Educational Qualification : MBBS with MS (Ortho) / Diploma (Ortho) from MCI recognized university/ institute
Responsibility : Engagement for 2 to 4 days in a week (Negotiable) for OPD/Ward/OT duties and with on call duties for the period of engagement
Honorarium : Specialists with PG Diploma - Rs.3000/ per day. Specialists with PG Degree - Rs. 3,500/ per day

Discipline : Ophthalmology

Educational Qualification : MBBS with MS/MD (Ophthalmology)/ Diploma (Ophthalmology) from MCI recognized university/ institute
Responsibility : Engagement for 2 to 4 days in a week (Negotiable) for OPD/Ward/OT duties and with on call duties for the period of engagement

Educational Qualification : MBBS with MS (Surgery) from MCI recognized university/ institute
Responsibility : Engagement for 2 to 4 days in a week (Negotiable) for OPD/Ward/OT duties and with on call duties for the period of engagement
Honorarium : Specialists with PG Diploma - Rs.3000/ per day. Specialists with PG Degree - Rs. 3,500/ per day

Discipline : General Duty Medical Officer
No. of posts : 6
Educational Qualification : MBBS from MCI recognized university/ institute
Responsibility : General shift duty in OPD / Ward / shift duty at OHSC / ER-CR /CCU on all working days in a week.
Honorarium : Rs. 40,000/ pm

The period of temporary engagement is for one year from the date of joining and may be considered for extension at the sole discretion of the Management. The maximum age limit of the candidates would be 70 years. Specialist/ Medical Officers who have retired from any of the SAIL Hospitals would be given preference.

Selection Procedure:
Interested and eligible candidates may walk-in for an interview from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Confluence, Burnpur-713325 Dist: West Burdwan, West Bengal on 21/11/2017 and at the 7th Floor of SAIL House at 50 Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Kolkata on 24/11/2017.

The candidates need to submit a type written application addressed to Director (M&HS) along with two copies of Photographs and a Bio-data containing name, father’s name, date of birth, educational qualification, work experience, address for communication, Mobile phone number, email id etc. on the same date before the commencement of the interview.

The candidates are also advised to bring all original documents along with self-attested photocopies of certificates in support of age, educational qualification (from matriculation onwards) and work experience certificates.

About us :
The Indian Iron & Steel Company (IISCO), a SAIL subsidiary, was amalgamated with SAIL on 16th February 2006 and renamed IISCO Steel Plant (ISP). This full-fledged integrated steel plant is one of India’s oldest. Established as an industrial enterprise in 1918, IISCO produced iron from an open-top blast furnace at Hirapur (later to be called Burnpur) in West Bengal for the first time in 1922.
