INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES FOR IMD EXAMINATION :
IMD Examination Question Paper consists of TWO PARTS namely, PART-I which is COMMON for ALL CANDIDATES and comprises of General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language & Comprehension and General Awareness, and PARTII which consists of Specialised Subjects i.e. Physics, Computer Science & Information Technology and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
Candidates are required to choose any one option out of the Part-II at the time of Exam Login.
HOW TO LOGIN :
Candidates shall login using their USER ID (10 Digit roll number) followed by a SUFFIX – a special CODE (single alphabet) for each specialised subject of PART-II of the QUESTION PAPER) as described below -
1. ‘P’- PHYSICS
2. ‘C’ - COMPUTER SCIENCE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
3. ‘E’ - ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
For example:
Candidate opting for PHYSICS in PART-II, is to login with their ROLL NUMBER followed by code ‘P’ as illustrated below:

Candidate opting for COMPUTER SCIENCE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY in PART-II, is to login with their ROLL NUMBER followed by code ‘C’ as illustrated below:

Candidate opting for ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING in PART-II, is to login with their ROLL NUMBER followed by code ‘E’ as illustrated below:

PASSWORD is DATE OF BIRTH of candidate to be entered in DDMMYYYY format ONLY.
NOTE:
Based on the special SUBJECT code as mentioned above, after login, the candidates would get the question paper of his/her selected option.
Candidate once logged in with a special SUBJECT code shall NOT BE ALLOWED to CHANGE it later. In case of RE-LOGIN due to system error or infrastructure issue, candidates are required to continue with the same SUBJECT CODE selected at the time of FIRST LOGIN, otherwise his/her responses would NOT be evaluated under any circumstances.
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
The examination would comprise 200 questions carrying 200 marks for two hours duration. The question paper would have two parts, Part - I & Part - II.

Note:
Candidates are not permitted to bring or use Mobile Phone, Calculators or any other electronic/ electrical device for answering any paper. Candidates must not, therefore, bring Mobile Phone, Calculators or any other electronic/electrical device inside the Examination premises.
Possession of these items, whether in use or not, will be considered as “use of unfair means” in the Examination and appropriate action will be taken by the Commission against such candidates, as per extant policy of the Commission.
Note-4: There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Part-I& II. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
Note-5:
Discrepancies in question paper should be brought to the notice of the Commission through online challenge system when representations are invited by the commission after the examination. Representations submitted thereafter and through any other means will not be entertained.
