Program Associate Recruitment :
The Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences invites the applications for the under mentioned posts for WHOCC-Cipla Foundation Training Project on Viral hepatitis for physicians and nurses. Interested candidates are required to attend walk-in interview on 23rd November 2017 at 11:00 AM at D-1, Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences with duly filled-in application. Project Brief:
There are many challenges in prevention and eradication of viral hepatitis in India. Health professionals in the country need to join hands and to deliver services for viral hepatitis, so that we could achieve the target of viral hepatitis elimination by 2030 which is also the global call for action by WHO.
It has been increasingly felt that the nurses and primary care physicians may be currently deficient in knowledge of screening, diagnosis and management of viral hepatitis, esp. B and C.
In order to build capacity of primary care physicians and paramedics towards viral hepatitis management, a training program has been conceptualized, so that comprehensive knowledge sharing could be done among technical experts from ILBS and the health professionals at a common platform.
To develop an independent open accessible, advanced national biobank facility, which could provide- proficient biological sample storage, cataloguing for ready reference and retrieval, high-end analytical services through skilled manpower along with human resource training in biobanking,
To become a nodal center for translational and basic researchers to conduct thorough research, on longitudinal cohort bio-samples under one roof.
Roles and Responsibilities:
** Enrolment of participants from the public health system, medical colleges and private sector
** Building rapport with participants through formal and informal communication and site visit
** Organizing on-site induction trainings
** Program monitoring and troubleshooting
** Improving the quality of the program through feedback
** Assisting the team in proposal writing & manuscript preparation
** Update measurement metrics for documenting and monitoring project progress
** Coordinate the participant and alumni network for the project
** Project documentation
** Drafting letters and power point presentations for communication to participants and broader stakeholder constituencies
** Assisting the team in preparing project proposals and manuscripts for publication
** Representation in meetings and conferences
Essential Qualification & Experience :
Essential: MBBS/BDS/BAMS
Desirable:Post graduation in a subject relevant to public health
With some experience of public health program / research
Good understanding of health system, human resources for health and working conditions of system based providers in India
Demonstrated track of peer-reviewed publications on public health topics
Willingness to travel (as and when required)
Upper age Limit : 40 years
Consolidated Remuneration per month : Upto Rs. 40,000/- Per month (Lumpsum) (The final compensation would be decided basis the qualifications and experience of the candidate)
*The candidate will report to the Program Manager and Principal Investigator.
The candidates with following skill set would be preferred-
** Grants writing and documentation.
** Prior experience of working in public health programs
** Support in monitoring and evaluation
** Ability to manage multiple tasks and key stakeholders.
** Skill and ability to use automated office equipment and software programs.
