C-MET invites applications from the eligible and highly motivated candidates for Walk-in-Interview to fill up the following temporary and time bound positions under DeitY (now MeitY), Govt. of India funded Sponsored project entitled “Environmentally Sound Methods for Recovery of Metals from PCBs (E-Waste)” at M/s. E-Parisara Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru.
The positions are purely temporary and coterminus with the Project i.e., up to 21.08.2019.

B. Tech in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering
OR
Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of experience in relevant field
Emoluments : Rs.16000 + HRA @ 30%

OR

Age: Not exceeding 28 years as on 01.11.2017. Relaxation will be given for the experience candidates.

Candidates fulfilling the above eligibility criteria after screening in will be allowed to appear for interview on 18.11.2017 (SATRUDAY) at 10:30 Hrs onwards, at the above mentioned address (Venue) along with application in the prescribed format, photograph, photocopies of testimonial with original certificates for verification.

Brief Write-Up about the Project:
“Environmentally Sound Methods for Recovery of Metals from Printed Circuit Boards – Phase II” a MeitY sponsored project aimed to develop environmentally friendly process methodologies for the cost effective recovery of precious metals and to establish pilot plant facilities to demonstrate the process technology.
This work involves both pyro and hydrometallurgical processes and the application of environmental principles. Technologies are developed to handle the hazardous vapors evolved during the process such as bromine, doxins, furnas, cadmium.
Processing equipments are designed and fabricated indigenously for handling and treating the hazardous flue gases and effluents. Metallurgists, chemical engineers, mechanical engineers and chemists can contribute a lot and gain expertise in the relevant field in this project.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. Nature of Position: The above positions are purely temporary and time bound as mentioned above.
2. Only short listed/screened-in candidates will be allowed for attending interview.
3. Age: Not exceeding 28 years as on 01.11.2017 (relaxable in exceptional cases i.e., for experienced candidates). Age relaxation for various categories as per GOI norms.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. The selected candidates shall not have any legal right to claim his/her regularization/appointment by absorption or otherwise against any regular post or any further contractual engagement on termination of the scheme/project.
6. Only Indian Nationals need apply. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to his / her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of CMET. C-MET reserves the right to cancel / terminate the candidature at any point of time during the recruitment process, if any wrong declaration, misrepresentation or concealment is detected.
7. All the candidates are required to produce original documents related to educational qualifications, date of birth, work experience, caste, etc at the time of registration / interview. Duly attested photocopies of all the documents must be enclosed along with the application form.
Only self attested recent passport size photograph should be pasted in the appropriate place in the application form.
