Download Admit Card for the posts of Law Clerk in the Gauhati High Court.
Date of Written Test : 12.11.2017 (Sunday)
Time : 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM
Place of Written Test : Guwahati

Procedure :
i) Enter Roll No
ii) Date of Birth [Date format is dd/MM/yyyy.]
iii) Enter the Verification Code
iv) Click on "Search Candidates" Button

N.B.: All fields marked [*] are mandatory.

Specific venue (s) of the Written Test will be indicated in the admit card.

Candidates are to download their admit cads from the official website of the High court (ghconline.gov.in) w.e.f. 3.00 pm of 07.11.2017 tiil the date of examination. The candidates shall bring their admit cards along with black/blue ink ball pen for appearing in the Examination.

A list of provisionally eligible candidates with assigned Roll numbers and a reject list have also been published along with this notification.

All the candidates of the provisional list have been allowed to appear in the written Examination purely on provisional basis with the condition that their eligibility is still under scrutiny and the High court reserves the right to reject the candidature of any candidate on detection of any ineligibility condition at any stage.

Grievances, if any, regarding inclusion/non-inclusion of names in the published lists or candidates, arc to be brought to the notice of the Joint Registrar (Recruitment), Gauhati High court, by e-mail (ghc.rcell2013[AT]gmail.com) on or before 23-10-2017 (till 5.00 PM).

SELECTION PROCESS:
The process of selection of Candidates will be as follows:
Stage 1: Written Examination(Objective type multiple choices) covering English, General Intelligence and Law in the pattern of 30+20+50 questions respectively of 100 marks will be Conducted for one and half hour duration. There will be no negative marks for wrong answer.
Stage 2: Viva-Voce- 20 marks

It is a Court of record and has all the powers of such Court including the power to punish for Contempt of itself and for Contempt of Courts Subordinate to it. Every High Court consist of a Chief Justice and such other Judges as the President of India from time to time deem it necessary.
