Trade Apprentice Recruitment :
Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the Ex-ITI candidates in the trades mentioned herein below for apprenticeship Training under apprenticeship Act, 1961 in the Loktak Power Station, a Unit of NHPC Limited (Govt. of India Enterprise).

Eligibility:
1. The applicant should have passed 10th Class under 10 + 2 system of education or its equivalent.
2. The applicant should have passed ITI examination from the recognized institution in the respective trade as per Apprentice Act, 1961.
3. The applicant should have completed minimum age of 14years as on 01.01.2018.
4. The candidates who have acquired prior training/ experience for more than one year and the candidates who have absconded previous apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply under this notification.

Stipend:
During the training period stipend will be paid as per Apprentice Act, 1961 and/or amended from time to time.

Documents to be enclosed:
1. Certificates of age, Educational and Technical Qualifications, duly attested by self.
2. Attested copy of Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
3. A Character certificate issued by the Gazetted Officer.
4. SC/ST Applicants should attach the attested copy of caste certificate issued by the Executive Magistrate of the concerned District in prescribed format.
5. One passport size recent photograph signed by the candidate on top of the photograph shall be affixed on the space as shown in the application format.
6. Two self-addressed envelopes (Size 10” x 8”) each affixed with Rs. 25/- postal stamp along with acknowledgement card.

Other Conditions:
1. Eligible candidates should register themselves in RDAT portal “apprenticeship.gov.in” and the registration number generated in the portal should be mentioned in the relevant column of application form.
2. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
3. The management reserves the right to reject any application or modify the recruitment process/ cancel the entire notification or part thereof without assigning any reason.
4. The selection for the training will not create/ confer and/or confirm any right whatsoever for appointment in NHPC.
5. The selected candidates will not be provided with any accommodation (or any other facility). They will have to make their own arrangements for their stay during the training period.

Selection:
The eligible & shortlisted candidates will be issued Call Letter for interview intimating the date and venue. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of performance during the personal interview.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview. After selection for the training the selected candidates are required to submit a medical fitness certificate as per rules of Apprentice Act, 1961. The medical fitness certificate shall be from District Civil Surgeon or equivalent.

Submission of application:
The duly filled-in application form in the prescribed format neatly typed in double space on A4 size paper should reach to Manager (HR), Loktak Power Station, Kom Keirap, P. O. Loktak, Manipur – 795 124 before closing of office hours (4:30 PM) on 18.11.2017 through India Post only. The application received after closing date will not be entertained.

The applications received after the office closing hours of the last date of submission will not be entertained. If the closing date happens to be a holiday the next working day will be the closing date. Queries, if any, may be addressed to the mail id: tnhrdloktak[AT]gmail.com.
