Management Associate Recruitment :
Indian Ports Association (IPA) was constituted in 1966 under Societies Registration Act, primarily with the idea of fostering growth and development of all Major Ports, which are under the supervisory control of Ministry of Shipping .

Over the years, IPA has consolidated its activities and grown strength and considered to be a think tank for the Major Ports with the ultimate goal of integrating the Maritime Sector. Following is the eligibility criteria for the post of Sr. Management Associate.

Salary : Rs 75,000 per month (consolidated)
Age Limit : Upto 45 years

Qualification Essential:
** MBA(HRD) or equivalent
** Minimum 5 years of experience in Training & Skill Enhancement in maritime sector
Desirable: Experience in Ports/PSUs/ Govt. Organisation is preferable.

Contract Period : Initially for one year, which may be extended by one year based on performance.

Scope of Work :
** Sr. Management Associate will render all academic inputs to the committee constituted for Implementation of the recommendation. Constituted for consideration/ incorporation/ implementation of the comments of Major Port Trusts on the report of committee on Training, performance Appraisal and Skill Enhancement of Port Officers in Major Ports.
** Sr. Management Associate will be associated with operationalisation of the training programmes recommended by IPA to the Ministry.
** Sr. Management Associate will also coordinate the implementation of Committee Report on “Training, Performance Appraisal and Skill Enhancement of Port Officers”.

Following is the eligibility criteria for appointment to the post of Dy. Manager (Admin).

Scale of Pay (Rs) : Rs 20,600-46,500. The remuneration at the bottom of the scale with DA, HRA and Cafeteria Allowance is expected to be around Rs. 60,000/-.

Education and other qualifications :
Direct Recruitment:-
** MBA /CS/CMA/ICAI.
** 05 years’ executive experience in Administration, Procurement Preferably in maritime sector.
Deputation: Any graduate with 4 years experience in admin & procurement from Govt deptt. , PSU, Public Undertaking.

Period of Probation (in years) : 2 years
Deputation of persons holding analogous post or posts in the scale of pay of Rs.16,400-40,500 or equivalent Scale of pay with 4 years regular service in General Administration department of Major Port or PSU’s or Autonomous bodies or Govt.

** The Vigilance status of the candidature signed by CVOs of the concerned Port (with details of last ten years)
