Download Admit Card for the written examination for the posts of LDA(Bench Asstt.)/ LDA-Cum-Typist/ Copyist for the District Courts of Baksa, Assam

N.B.: All fields marked [*] are mandatory.
Date of Written Test : 12.11.2017 (Sunday)
Time : 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM
Place of Written Test : Guwahati
Specific venue (s) of the Written Test will be indicated in the admit card.
Candidates are to downroad their admit cads from the official website of the High court w.e.f. 3.00 pm of 07.11.2017 tiil the date of examination. The candidates sharr bring their admit cards arong with bracl(brue ink bafl pen for appearing in the examination.
A list of provisionally erigibre candidates with assigned Roll numbers and a reject list have also been published along with this notification.
All the candidates of the provisionar rist have been aflowed to appear in the written examination purely on provisional basis with the condition that their eligibilry is still under scrutiny and the High crurt reserves the right to reject the candidature of any candidate on detection of any ineligibility condition at any stage.
Grievances, if any, regarding inclusion/non-inclusion of names in the published lists or candidates, arc to be brought to the notice of the Joint Registrar (Recruitment), Gauhati High court, by e-mail (ghc.rceil2013 [AT] gmail.com) on or before 23.10.2017 (till 5.00 PM).
Selection Process :
Written Test (Objective Type Multiple Choice) :
A common Written Test (Objective Type Multiple Choices) of 2 hour duration on OMR answer scripts will be held consisting of two segments on the same OMR sheet. One segment (Question no.1 to 80) shall consist of 80 (Eighty) objective type multiple choice questions on General English, General Knowledge and General Aptitude and the Other segment (Question no. 31 to 100) shaft consist of 20 (Twenty) objective type questions on the Official language of the State of Assam (Assamese Language).
The segment On Official language of the State of Assam will be of qualifying in nature and marks obtained therein Will not be considered while preparing the merit list of the written test. Merit list for the Written test Will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the segment Containing questions Of General English, General knowledge and General Aptitude subject to obtaining minimum qualifying marks in the Official Language segment.
A candidate has to Secure minimum 40% marks ie 8 (eight) marks to qualify in the official language Segment. The High Court reserves the right to fix cut off mark, if any for the written test. There shall be no negative marking.
Viva voice/Interview :
Candidates in the ratio of 1:3 (Three candidates against One vacancy) from the rankwise Marksheet of the Written test will be called to the Viva Voice. On the basis of the grand total marks Obtained by the Candidates in the Written Test and the Viva voice the final select fist Will be prepared post-Wise and establishment-Wise of the District.
However, final selection shall be subject to overall suitability of the candidates to be decided by the Gauhati High Court. Where more than One Candidate, obtain Same grand total marks, the candidate who Obtains more marks in the Written Test will get preference.
Where the marks obtained by Such candidates in the Written Test are also same, then the candidate who is senior in age Will get preference.
