Registrar, Controller of Examination Recruitment :
Central University of Jharkhand invites applications from the eligible citizens of India for the following position to be filled by direct recruitment on regular basis.

Essential Qualification/Desirable Qualification :
Registrar :
Essential:
i. Masters Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale.
ii. At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000/- and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs.8000/- and above including as Associate Professor alongwith experience in educational administration,
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education.
OR
Fifteen years of administrative experience of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
Age: Preferably below 57 years.

Controller of Examination :
Essential:
i. Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
ii. At least fifteen years if experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000.00 and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000.00 and above including as Associate
Professor along with experience in Higher Educational Administration.
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education
OR
Fifteen years of administrative experience of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
Desirable Qualification:
Preference will be given to candidates with adequate experience in the pre-conduct and post-conduct of University examinations or other comparable examinations; working knowledge of examination software and results automation.
Age: Preferably below 57 years

Assistant Registrar : (to be filled up on deputation basis)
Essential:
1. Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of 'B' in the UGC seven-point scale along with a good academic record.
2. Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 5 years regular service in PB-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/ 4800 in the Central/State Government, Universities and other autonomous organizations.
Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years

Information Scientist :
Essential:
First Class B.E./B.Tech. (Computer Science Degree/Information Technology) or equivalent
OR
First Class Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (MCA) or equivalent.
OR
Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science (M.Lib. I.Sc.)
OR
Bachelors Degree in Library and Information Science B.Lib or B.L.I.Sc.) with three years' experience in the field and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA).
Desirable:
Three years’ experiences in Library Automation preferably in University/Institute/ College/PSU etc.
Upper Age Limit: Preferably below 40 years

Application Processing Fee :
Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for General and OBC candidates and NO FEE for SC, ST, PH and Women candidates. The payment shall be made through bank Challan given along with this advertisement.
