Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited invites applications from eligible candidates in the category of SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy Layer), PWD (HH & OH) and UR (General) for the posts of Technical Staff and Operatives in various trades in Skilled & Semi-skilled grades for appointment on Contract Basis for a maximum period of two years.

Age Limit : The maximum age limit is 33 years & minimum not less than 18 years as on 01.09.2017 Relaxation in upper age limit is 5 years for SC/ST candidates & 3 years for OBC candidates as per Rules.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO BE NOTED BEFORE REGISTRATION :
Before applying online, candidates should
i. Scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications as given under Guidelines for photograph & signature scan and upload.

ii. Have a valid personal email ID and mobile no., which should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Process. MDL may send intimation to download call letters for the Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID.

In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID and mobile no. before applying on-line and must maintain that email account and mobile number.

A. Application Procedure:
i. To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password.

An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.

ii. In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing "SAVE AND NEXT" tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the "SAVE AND NEXT" facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required.

Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify/ get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.

iii. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.
iv. The Name of the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates / Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature
v. Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the 'Validate your details' and 'Save & Next' button.
vi. Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under point "C"
vii. Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.
viii. Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
ix. Modify details, if required, & click on 'FINAL SUBMIT' ONLY after verifying & ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
x. Click on 'Payment' Tab and proceed for payment.
xi. Click on 'Submit' button.

B. Payment of Fees:
Application Fee including Bank and other Charges (Non-Refundable):
The application fee including intimation and other charges (non refundable) is as under

Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees / intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate. Kindly note that if candidate is applying for 2 trades from group A or B then fees will be 200 for General and OBC category.

Offline Mode:
1. Application Fees of Rs. 100/- (Non-Refundable) and Bank Charges of Rs. 40/-needs to be deposited at any nearest branch of State Bank of India (SBI) by using challan form.

2. General, OBC category Candidates are required to submit Rs. 140/- . However candidates belonging to PWD, Ex-Servicemen, SC & ST category are exempted from paying the Application Fees, at the time they are called for Trade Test, Any misinformation will lead to disqualification of candidature .The candidates are required to download the Challan Form.

3. The candidate should fill up all the three parts (Bank Copy, MDL Copy & Candidate Copy) of the challan, Deposit cash of Rs. 140/- (including Bank Charges of Rs. 40/-) at the nearest SBI branch. The Bank shall retain its copy (Bank’s Copy) and return two parts (MDL Copy & Candidate Copy) of the challan to the candidate.

4. Candidates shall attach MDL copy with Application Form & shall retain candidate copy safely with him/her. It is essential to submit application fee through above process only. Demand Draft/ Cheque/ Postal Order etc will not be considered as application fees.

C. Guidelines for scanning the photograph and Signature:
Before applying online a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his / her photograph and signature
