Safety Officer Recruitment :
Applications are invited for the post of SAFETY OFFICER on Contract Basis at Hindustan Newsprint Limited for a period of one year initially, extendable for a further period of one year. The eligibility criteria for selection are as follows:

Qualification & Experience:
I. Recognized Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology with Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering (60% Marks) from the Directorate of Technical Education /Central Labour Institute/Regional Labour Institute/Supervisory Development Centre, Govt. of Kerala with minimum 10 (ten) years experience as Safety Officer in a reputed Chemical Process Industry. Retired persons from State Government in the above capacity can also apply.
Or
II. Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology recognized by the State Board of Technical Education with Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering (60% Marks) from the Directorate of Technical Education /Central Labour Institute/Regional Labour Institute/Supervisory Development Centre, Govt. of Kerala with minimum 13 (thirteen) years experience as Safety Officer in a reputed Chemical Process Industry. Retired persons from State Government in the above capacity can also apply. Knowledge of Malayalam is essential.

Age Limit: 58 years as on 30.09.2017
Remuneration: Consolidated payment of Rs. 40,000/- per month.

Other terms and Conditions :
1 Unfurnished accommodation will be provided, subject to availability, for which license fee will be charged as per rules.
2 Reimbursement of Conveyance Expenses for maintaining vehicle as admissible to our permanent employees of rank of Manager (E-4) or Local Travelling Expenses (LTE) as per rules of the Company will be allowed.

3 Medical assistance will be provided in Company’s Hospital. The Company, however, will not be responsible for reimbursement towards expenditure on hospitalization in any other hospital. Reimbursement on account of domiciliary treatment shall be limited equivalent to one-month’s consolidated remuneration per annum.

4 The entitlement of leave during the contract period will be as under:-
a. Casual Leave (CL) - 12 days in a year
b. Earned Leave (EL) - 1 (one) day EL for every 20 days of duty.
c. Sick Leave (SL) - 10 days in a year.

5 Will be entitled for Provident Fund as per rules of the Company.
6 In case deputed outside for official work, will be paid TA/DA as admissible to the employees of the rank of Manager (E-4) in the Company.
7 The appointee shall not engage or interest either directly or indirectly in any assignment or business or take up any employment with any Company, firm, individual or concern during the contract period with the Company.
8 The contract may be terminated by giving one month’s notice or payment in lieu thereof from either side.
