Driver, Utility Hand Recruitment :
Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for Engagement as Driver and as Utility Hand for AIESL (Air India Engineering Services Limited) Eastern Region, Kolkata on a fixed term engagement, for a period of 3 (Three) years and to maintain a wait list for future requirement.
No. of Vacancies :
1) Driver -Total 15 (General-9, OBC – 3, SC-3, )
2) Utility Hands – Total 60 (General - 32, OBC – 13, SC-13, ST-2)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (AS ON 31.08.2017):
1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS for Drivers:
Middle (Class VIII Pass)
HMVL (Heavy Motor Vehicle Licence) & Light Commercial Transport Vehicle Licence (LMVL )
2. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS for Utility Hands:
Minimum Class X pass. Preference will be given to those having ITI certificate.
3. EXPERIENCE:
a) Minimum 5 years of experience in an airline industry/ Aviation Sector for both Driver and Utility Hand.
4. TERM OF ENGAGEMENT :
Driver/Utility Hand will be engaged on fixed term contract for a period of 3 (Three) years further extendable in multiples of 3 (Three) years depending upon requirement and individual performance.
5. UPPER AGE LIMIT (AS ON 31.08.2017):
Maximum Age limit - 55 years. SC/ST/OBC/ Ex- Serviceman candidates would be given age relaxation as per Govt. directives in this regard. The period of engagement would be for a period of 3 years or 60 years of age whichever is earlier.
6. REMUNERATION:
Total emoluments will be Rs. 15418/-. However, the same may be revised by the Management if required.
8. HOW TO APPLY:
Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria as mentioned above are required to download and fill up the application form available with this advertisement. Candidates are required to appear for WALK-IN Interview/Trade Test on 30.10.2017 between 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs at the following venue:

In case of reporting of large number of candidates, they may be required to only submit the application. Walk In Interview/Trade Test would be conducted on subsequent dates, intimation of which would be sent to the eligible candidates separately.
Candidates will bring all original Certificates/Testimonials as mentioned below:
A. Proof of Date of Birth
B. Proof of Educational Qualification
C. Copy of Caste Certificate (Only for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
D. Experience Certificate/s
E. Two recent Passport size photographs
Candidates would also be required to furnish self attested copies of all certificates/ testimonials as mentioned above along with Application Form. Please note that No Original Certificate is to be submitted with the Application Form. Candidates are required to bring all Original Certificates for verification along with them.
Candidates are also advised to bring an A/c Payee Demand Draft for an amount of Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred Only) in favour of “Air India Engineering Services Ltd.”, payable at New Delhi, as non-refundable application Fee (Not applicable for SC/ST). Please mention your Full Name and contact number on the reverse of the Demand Draft.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
9.1 The short listed candidates will be considered for engagement on a fixed term Contract basis, subject to their Medical fitness. Cost of required medical tests is to be borne by the candidate, prescribed for the position.
9.2 The applicant / candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria, as on 31st August, 2017, and that the particulars furnished by them in the Application Form are correct in all respects.
At any stage of the Selection Process or thereafter, if the particulars provided by the candidates in the Application or testimonials furnished are found incorrect / false, or not meeting with the eligibility requirements prescribed for the post, the candidature is liable to be rejected and, if appointed, services terminated, without giving any notice or reasons thereof.
9.3 Management reserves all rights to take any decision with regard to conduct of this exercise including interpretation of eligibility, deferring conduct of the exercise or even canceling the exercise, which decision would be binding on all concerned.
9.3 Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or bringing political or other outside influence, with regard to their engagement / selection shall be considered as DISQUALIFICATION.
