Advertisement for reinviting applications for Appointment of Project Manager (Highways) on Contractual Basis in PRBDB

Applications are reinvited from qualified & experienced persons for appointment as Project Manager (Highways) in Punjab Roads & Bridges Development Board (PRBDB) on contractual basis, initially for a period of 2 years.

The applications accompanied with one passport-size photograph alongwith self-attested copies of certificates / testimonials in respect of educational qualifications and experience must be submitted in sealed envelope and clearly marked “Application for the Post of Project Manager (Highways)”.

Applications must reach the office of the Joint Secretary, Punjab Roads & Bridges Development Board, SCF 61-62, Phase-2, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) – 160 055 latest by 10.10.2017 by 5.00 PM.

The Terms and Conditions for appointment are as under: -
i) The candidate should be below 65 years of age as on the date of advertisement.
ii) The candidate should have minimum educational qualification of M. Tech (Highways) from a reputed institute. A minimum experience of 5 years in the field of highways, design, pavement design and construction etc. is essential.
iii) Preference will be given to candidate having knowledge of practices relating to asset management, implementation and operation of performance based road maintenance contracts, quality management, modern highway construction technology and project management.
iv) Preference shall be given to those candidates who have experience of working
in the Public Sector or other Government Departments.
v) The applicant should attach the photocopies of certificates duly self-attested in support of their qualification & experience etc. with the application.
vi) The selection shall be made initially for a period of two years which may be extended further as per the requirement.
vii) Remuneration shall be commensurate with candidate’s qualification and experience and is negotiable.

About Us :
The Punjab Roads & Bridges Development Board was constituted by the Government of Punjab vide Punjab Act No. 22 of 1998 and notified on 27th July 1998 as an undertaking of the State Government to act as a catalyst for infrastructure development in the road sector in the State of Punjab.

PRBDB's Office is situated at SCO 61-62, Phase-2, SAS Nagar Mohali, Punjab

Its purpose is to act as a nodal agency to plan, and monitor all aspects relating to construction and improvement of roads and bridges in the State. This Board is responsible for planning and deployment of funds on State roads, fiscal management, project management, interdepartmental coordination and the other key areas.
