QUESTION PAPER WITH ANSWER KEY OF PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF TRANSLATOR IN LOK SABHA SECRETARIAT HELD ON 24.09.2017- NOTICE REGARDING OBJECTIONS, IF ANY.(ADVT. NO.8/2017)
The Multiple Choice Objective Type Question paper with answer key of the Preliminary Examination for recruitment to the post of Translator in Lok Sabha Secretariat held on 24.09.2017 (Sunday) has been uploaded on Our Website loksabha.nic.in under the link "Recruitment' - Advertisement and Notices.
2. Objections, if any, may be submitted to Joint Recruitment Cell, Room No. 521, Parliament House Annexe, New Delhi - 110001 or by E-mail at jointrecruitmentcell [AT] gmail.com latest by 05.00 P.M. on 27.09.2017. Thereafter, no objection will be entertained in this regard
3. In case, no objections are received within the period mentioned in para 2 above, the answer sheets for the said examination may be got evaluated on the basis of the above said key.
PAPER: GENERAL KNOWLEDGE & CURRENT AFFAIRS, GENERAL ENGLISH AND GENERAL HINDI
Time : 75 Minutes
Marks : 150
INSTRUCTIONS:
(i) Write only your Roll No. in the appropriate column of the answer sheet(s),
(ii) Mark your answer by putting 'X' in relevant box. No marks will be given for responses outside the box. In case, you feel that there is more than one correct answer to a question, mark the response/option you consider the best. In any case, mark only one response for each question. Use blue or black ball pen only to mark your response.
(iii) In case, you want to change your response to any question, fully blacken the first response like and 'X' mark in the correct box.
(iv) All questions carry equal marks.
(v.) There will not be negative marking.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Eligible candidates will have to appear in written examination as per the following scheme:
I Preliminary Examination
II Main Examination
The candidates will have to secure the Minimum qualifying marks in each component and aggregate in the Preliminary Examination. The marks secured by the candidates in the Preliminary Examination will not be counted while preparing the final selection list. The answer sheets of Main Examination of only those candidates will be got evaluated who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in each component and aggregate in the Preliminary Examination.
From amongst the candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in each component of Papers I and II above, selection will be made on the basis of the overall performance of candidates in the Main Examination, subject to the availability of vacancies.
The candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories availing the benefit of their category in marks obtained for qualifying the Preliminary Examination and/or Main Examination and/or in age will not be entitled to occupy UR vacancy.
