Download Admit Card for Written Test for the post of "J&K CONSTABLE"

It is for the information of all those candidates who after having applied for the post of constable in J&K Police under TRP 2016-17 have qualified the Physical Endurance / Measurement Test (PET/PMT) that their written test shall be conducted on 08.10.2017 (Sunday) in all the districts of J&K.

The time and venue for the conduct of said examination shall be reflected in their Admit Cards. The Admit Cards of all such eligible candidates will be available on J&K Police Website (jkpolice.gov.in) w.e.f. 16.09.2017.

The written test will consist of objective type questions. The question paper will consist of 100 questions to be attempted in 02 hrs. The question paper will be of matriculation standard and will comprise questions on General awareness, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude and Ability.

The candidates are advised to bring along their Admit Cards and any valid ID Proof and will ensure to report at their examination centers as per the time mentioned in their Admit Cards. The candidates are also advised to strictly follow the instructions detailed out in their respective Admit Cards.

Written Examination :
The written test will consist of objective questions. The (Objective type) question paper will consist of 100 questions to be Only for the candidates who attempted in 2 hours.

The question paper will be of qualify and meet the required matriculation standard will comprise questions on of “A & B” of this para shall general awareness/general knowledge, elementary be allowed to sit in written mathematics, analytical aptitude and ability test.

The Police Department undertakes the Recruitment under Transparent Recruitment Process (TRP), which is a technology driven recruitment policy and envisages inter-alia conduct of the PET, PST and written tests on scientific lines with use of:-
a) RFID chip timing technology for conduct of endurance run in the physical efficiency test to ensure accuracy and tamper proof conduct of run.
b) Standardized height and chest (with expansion) devices with the digital display monitors for display to the candidates and interface with computer application for automatic data entry into data base.
c) Use of bio-metric devices to eliminate duplication and impersonation.
d) Use of CCTV technology to video graph various stages of recruitment and thereby maintain a backup of record and also track of the activities at various recruitment centers simultaneously functioning across the State.
e) Use of OMR/ICR for conduct of the written test.
