Sports Quota Recruitment :
RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA (OPEN ADVERTISEMENT) FOR THE YEAR 2017

Applications are invited on plain A-4 size paper, in the prescribed format from Indian citizens for recruitment in posts in Level-2 with Pay Rs.19,900/- (Grade Pay Rs.1900/- in Pay Band Rs.5200-20200) and Level-5 with Pay Rs.29,200/- (Grade Pay Rs.2800/- in Pay Band Rs.5200-20200) in Integral Coach Factory against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2017, in the following games / events.

FEE :
1. A fee of Rs.500/- must be paid only through Demand Draft / Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of FA&CAO/ICF payable at Chennai.
2. i) Rs.250/- for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Disability (PWD), Minorities and Economic Backward Classes, which will be refunded to those who are actually appear for the selection.
ii) While applying, the candidates claiming fee exemption must submit necessary certificates i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-servicemen, in the format as prescribed in the Central Government order.
iii) If proof is not enclosed such candidates will be considered as Unreserved candidates, subject to payment of ? 500/- towards the fee.

3. Candidates must write their name, full address at the space provided in the postal order.
4. Demand Draft / Indian Postal Orders should have been issued on or after the date of issue of this Employment Notification.

HOW TO APPLY :
1. If a candidate is applying for more than one game, event, then he should submit separate application for each of the game.
2. Applications should be strictly in the prescribed format as appended, shall be filled in A-4 size GSM Bond paper.
3. The application format is also available in the ICF website icf.indianrailways.gov.in
4. One passport size photograph should be pasted on the application form at the space specified.
5. Along with the filled-in application form an IPO or Demand Draft for an amount of Rs.500/- (or) Rs.250/- (as applicable) should be enclosed.

6. Self-Attested photocopies of the following documents should be enclosed.
i) Proof of Educational Qualification/Technical Qualification/Typing qualification (if any).
ii) Proof of Date of Birth {any one of Birth Certificate, Std X- TC, Matric mark list}.
iii) Transfer Certificate /School Leaving Certificate (last studied).
iv) SC/ST/OBC certificate in the format as prescribed in the Central Government order, if required.
v) Department / Government service candidates must enclose a No Objection Certificate from the employer.
vi) Necessary testimonials concerning the Sports activities up to the date of application.
vii) Certificates in language other than English or Hindi should be accompanied by an attested translation in English / Hindi.

7. The candidates should bring all the original certificates when they are called to appear for the trial / Interview.

8. The application should be sent along with the above enclosures, duly self-attested. On top of the envelope "Application for Sports Recruitment (Open Advertisement)”
should be written in Block letters and write the category applied for. It should be addressed to the

and sent by post or hand over to the Recruitment Section/ Personnel Branch/ Shell Division/ Integral Coach Factory, Chennai-600038.
