Only a candidate who has registered for Gujarat SET Examination held on 27th August 2017, can Download the Answer key.

In case, the candidates, having grievances with regards to answer key(s), may challenge the answer key(s) by sending a written request , in prescribed format available on website gujaratset.ac.in, to the Member Secretary, Gujarat State Eligibility Test, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, B - Block, Chameli Baug, Nr. University Guest House, Prof. C. C. Mehta Road, Vadodara - 390 002 supporting his / her stand with standard books / literature along with the Demand Draft of Rs.1,000/- per question in favour of the " Member Secretary, GSET" payable at Vadodara, on or before 15th September 2017.

The envelope should be marked "Grievance Regarding Answer Key(s) of GSET Examination". The request(s) so received will be placed before the Expert Committee(s). In case the challenge of any candidate regarding answer key(s) is accepted, the fee will be refunded to such candidate.

In all other cases the fee once paid will not be refunded. GSET Agency's decision on the challenges shall be final and the result will be declared on the basis of final answer keys and No Grievances with regards to answer key(s) after declaration of result of GSET will be entertained.

Procedure and Criteria for Declaration of Result :
This will comprise of the following:
Top 6% of the appearing candidates who appear in all three papers and secure at least 40% of aggregate marks for candidates belonging to GENERAL Category and at least 35% of aggregate marks for candidates belonging to reserved categories, viz., SC, ST, OBC (belonging to Non Creamy Layer), and PWD will be declared qualified for Eligibility for Assistant Professor by following the reservation policy of Government of India.

It may be noted that the above qualifying criteria is final and binding.

Scheme of Examination :
** GSET Examination will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held in two separate sessions.

** Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.

60 (Sixty) multiple choice questions of 2 marks each will be given, out of which the candidate would be required to answer any 50 (Fifty). In the event of the candidate attempting more than 50 questions, the first 50 questions attempted by the candidate would be evaluated.

** Paper-II shall consist of 50 (Fifty) objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
** Paper-III will consist of 75 (Seventy Five) objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
** All questions of Paper-II and Paper-III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus (including all electives, without options).
** The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper – I, Paper – II and Paper – III on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided.
** There is no provision of re - evaluations of papers
