Scientific Advisor Recruitment :
Applications are invited from retired Officers from Govt. / Govt. undertaking for the post of ‘Scientific Advisor’ on contractual basis having experience of worked as a Class-I Officer cadre, having qualifications: Graduate in Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry or Biology or microbiology as one of the subject OR in Environmental Science.

Should have working experience of coordination with CPCB and MoEF for compliance of Noise Rules, and CAAQMS data transfer, Air pollution data issues etc.

Applications are invited from retired Officers from Govt. / Govt. Undertaking for the post of ‘Scientific Advisor’ on contractual basis for 2 years period, having experience of working as a class-I officer cadre. Terms and Conditions are as mentioned below:
1. Qualifications: At least graduate in Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry or Biology or microbiology as one of the subject OR Environmental Science. Computer Knowledge with MSCIT is must.

2. Experience:
** Should have 15 years of experience in working with SPCB/CPCB for environmental monitoring, conducting surveys, Environmental monitoring data handling and assessment, Data processing of CAAQMS (Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station), water quality monitoring station, Air pollution data issues and report preparation.

** Should have 5 years laboratory experience in analysis of samples collected under Air (Prevention and Control of pollution) Act, 1981, Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, and Hazardous Waste Rule, 1989.

** Preference and weightage will be given to officers worked in SPCB/CPCB establishments and possessing the above said experience.

** Should have experience in conducting Noise monitoring, Coastal water monitoring, well versed in the process of e-tender procurement, Installation of continuous Air monitoring stations etc. Also should possess experience of coordination with CPCB and MoEF for seeking necessary approvals.

** Should have Application of GIS Techniques report preparation etc.

3. Contractual Period: 2 years, purely on contractual basis. (If the performance is not satisfactory, the services may be discontinued, by giving 7 days' notice from the competent authority.)
