Designation Piping Engineer

Job Description QEI has immediate need for experienced Piping Engineers for its Indian operation in Salt Lake, Calcutta.

Responsibilities:

Candidate should posses an excellent academic record, a diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in the design of projects of various scales and magnitudes. He will be engaged in various sections of piping engineering viz. design, analysis and material selection/control, on the assigned projects.

Desired Profile The candidate should have exposure in Design Engineering Organizations preferably engaged in oil & gas industry and should have hands on experience in piping engineering.

Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field with a minimum 3 years of industry experience.
o Strong technical background and ability to effectively work in a multi-discipline environment.
o Hands on experience in Piping engineering in general and layout and/or analysis and/or piping material in particular.
o Conversant with PFDs, P&IDs, piping isometric and material take-off etc.
o Hands on experience in stress analysis packages like CAESAR II or equivalent is preferred.
o 3-D plant modeling experience using PDS/ PDMS/ Auto PLANT/ Smart Plant will be considered as added advantage.
o Excellent analytical and computer skills.
o Strong oral and written communication skills.
