Download Admit Card :
The Computer Based Examination for NTRO Technical Assistant Examination-2017 has been scheduled to be conducted on 09th September 2017 (Saturday) and 10th September 2017 (Sunday). The Admit Cards will be issued to the shortlisted candidates on their given email ID from 29th August 2017 onwards.

Selection Procedures:
(i) The Government has dispensed with interviews for Junior Level Posts. Accordingly, recruitment to the post of Technical Assistant will be made through Written Examination in Computer Based Mode.

(ii) Candidates will be shortlisted for Computer Based Examination based on the percentage of marks in Essential Qualification as indicated by them during online application/Registration. Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:50, i.e. 50candidates for every vacancy, subject to availability of sufficient number of eligible candidates.

Candidates will be shortlisted by applying suitable cut off in the percentage of marks, in multiples of five. The number of candidates shortlisted may be slightly more or less due to the criteria of applying cut off in multiples of five.

The criteria followed in short listing candidates for Computer Based Examination will be final. No appeal or representation will be entertained against such short listing criteria.

Note-I :
Where the result of the candidate is indicated in the Final Year Marks Sheetin CGPA without indicating the corresponding percentage of marks, such candidate, during the online application/registration, is required to carefully calculate and mention the correct corresponding percentage by following the criteria/formulae, if any, indicated therein.

In all other cases,the conversion formula of CGPA (as indicated in the Final Year Mark Sheet) multiplied by (x) 9.5 will be applicable to arrive at corresponding percentage. Where percentage of marks is clearly mentioned in the Final Year Marks Sheet, the candidate is required to mention such exact percentage during the online application/registration.

Note-II :
The information furnished by the candidates during online application/Registration will be verified with reference to their original documents at the time of reporting for their appointment, if selected. During such verification of documents, if it is found that any information furnished by the candidate in the application is wrong, his/her candidature will be cancelled/rejected forthwith.

No appeal or representation against such cancellation/rejection of candidature will be entertained. The candidates should ensure that they have furnished correct information during the online application/Registration.

(iii) Final Merit List will be drawn on the basis of performance in Computer Based Examination.This Organisation will have the full discretion to fix separate minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Examination for each category of candidates viz. UR/SC/ST/OBC/PWD as the case may be.

In case two or more candidates secure same marks in the Computer Based Examination, the tie will be resolved by the following procedure:-
(a) On the basis of date of birth with the older candidate being placed higher in merit.
(b) Alphabetical order of names (as mentioned during online application/registration) of the candidates.

(iv) Mere position in the Final Merit List will not entitle the candidate for appointment unless he/she is declared medically FIT to join the post. Instructions for medical examination will be issued to the candidates in due course as per their position in the Final Merit List.
